A very big R. V. Resort, staff from activities operates in a highly professional. The Director does her best to keep the highest entertainment possible. Her number one band is the AMERICAN KOUNTRY VARIETY BAND hands down, to bad they don't play more often. Highly recommend to any and all R. V'ers.

I found this place online and was happy to see that it was a nice well kept park. Myself and my husband wanted to move in for 3mo-1yr. Everything online looked great and we went in to talk to them and that is when they decided to tell us about an age limit.
Now I get it that you don’t want loud, disruptive tenants BUT my husband is 37, I am 24. No kids, No pets. We work in IT and are rarely home, why bring a magic age of 42 changes who will be at your park is ridiculous. At least let us try or give restrictions before immediately saying no your 5 years too young.
The attendant was not friendly about it and I still can’t get over that it was no where online that indicated an age requirement. I would have no issue it if was advertised in an open way.response / report this review -

Great little RV park; super helpful staff. We arrived at 10:30pm and they waited up for us to help us back in and get settled for the night.

Wonderful! Very clean and cozy. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Swimming pools, billiards, activities galore, shuffleboard, the list goes on and on. Definitely want to stay here again.

An excellent rv park. My wife and I may even stay longer. Wonderful amenities and courteous, friendly staff. I gave 4 stars only because some of the washers and dryers need some attention. Other than that you can't go wrong with Desert Shadows. We will be back.

Resort is a real stretch .. It’s a 30 year old trailer park with 90% of the sites filled with park models and RV’s thrown in-between.. Nice pool & spa.. Showers are old & small only 3 in the whole park for women & 3 in the mens room.. Showers are Not handicapped accessible.. Nice library, free ice machine. Pull through sites are all rock and not very level.. Concert patio pads are small & some are cracked. Palm trees are in the way and offer no shade..NO WIFI & NO CABLE.. The yearly RV sites are redone ( bigger patio pads, pavers etc) at the renters expense.The lots are very unlevel, tilting towards the street. They are also very close together. We have been here several times & I have never seen anyone use the shuffleboard courts or bocce ball courts..Waste of space, Fruit trees at most of the permeant sites offer lemons and grapefruit..

I stayed here March through April while my wife was being seen at the mayo clinic. During our stay the staff showed us compassion and kindness that was beyond what I would expect in today's world.
The pool and hot tub are great and staff are team players. If you are looking for a place to get out of the snow and cold or just a spot for a week this is your place. And just a side note this park is kid friendly unlike so many parks that are adult only..and the owners actually care about you and work hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

They have it all! Events happening every night. Focus on enjoyment is top notch.

Very welcoming and accommodating! One of the only places that allows kids in their short stay spots. Residents were all so nice.

Quiet place. Finding your way around is confusing. Always clean when I'm there. People are pretty nosey though do don't expect any privacy.
