Spectacular!! Absolutely wonderful new years eve dinner. All courses were perfect. Service and ambience was top of the line. One of the best 5 dinners I have had anywhere in the world.

A group I belong to had it's Holiday Luncheon there today. It was such an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I'm sure we will be returning!

Washington Duke is a beautiful hotel with attractive rooms. I especially enjoyed the tile on the shower wall which looked like basket weaving. The service was very good, though the room service menu could have enjoyed some expansion. The staff we interacted with were fairly friendly. Our room overlooked the golf course, which made for a pleasant thought-not-exactly-breathtaking view when we chose to have the curtains open. The king bed was luxurious, and the pillows perfect. It was quite lovely overall.

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Everyone wished us a happy anniversary as we walked into the restaurant and as through to our table. The food was fabulous with care taken to the very last detail. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to stay and play. Great atmosphere in the Bull Durham bar. Fantastic farm to table dining as well. We have come for 4 years while visiting our son at Duke. Always feels like a mini vacation. Personnel is very friendly. One piece of advice : don't wear UNC gear! This is Blue Devils territory!

The rooms are well put together. A good mix of classic décor and modern amenities. The room was quiet and dark for sleeping. The employees were very curtious and helpful. The bar was great at night to sit outside and watch the light fade from the golf course. A great stay!

The area is very polished and we'll put together. The restaurant has a good selection of beer and finger foods. I would recommend this location to others.

My ex husband was a chef here for many years so we were quite often spoiled on his days off with peach mimosas and the lovely gardens and beautiful gold course. The most luscious, exquisite hotel in the Triangle area. Perfect for a very special event or a lavish wedding. True gem💎 Free parking and wheel chair accessible parking, and shuttle

The hotel.is very conveniently located near the Duke University campus. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The one bedroom suite was cozy and clean. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with both hot and cold food and made to order eggs and waffles. The wait staff is fantastic! I will definitely stay at this hotel when I am in the Durham area

Best afternoon tea in the triangle, possibly the state. Service is excellent and the food divine. They have a small but excellent selection of loose leaf teas. I've tried many other places but nothing compares.

My family and I had lunch at the restaurant. The menu had wonderful variety, and our entrees and desserts we're sublime. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. All in all, it was a real pleasure. Highly recommended!

My friends are members of the Washington Duke Country Club and I met them at the club for lunch yesterday. It was really classy. Elegant without being snobby. I pulled up to the front for valet parking, will have a short meeting and drink in the bar area, and then went into the dining room for the meal. The architecture is wonderful with heavy moldings and coffered ceiling accents, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the meal was pretty on target. Get the dessert! I had the cheesecake and shared it with one of my friends. Spectacular. Highly recommend! I don't know what the club membership costs, but the environment is very genteel, and the food is terrific. Go check it out.

Our experience was awesome! After some delays and a long drive to Durham, arriving and seeing our room was a welcoming sight. The room and service we're both excellent and the proximity to the university is ideal. We definitely want to return and enjoy another evening here!

Great location for events at Duke University. The hotel is within walking distance of campus and they also offer a shuttle to campus locations. And if you're looking to play golf, you can't find a closer spot to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful; they quickly resolved problems with our check-in and directed us around as needed. There is much variety in the amenities of rooms. I think ours was the basic level, and had similar fixtures to what I've found at chain hotels around the 3-Star level. The difference here is that all of the areas of the room (bathroom, shower, beds, furniture) were well made and well-functioning.
