I worked with Michael Thomas. The best things about this experience is they were reasonable, willing to negotiate, and were very informative. My favorite part is they were not pushy! Michael even worked to have the paperwork and final forms prepared so it was a quick process. I hope my Accord will last a while, but when I am ready for an upgrade, it is a no brainer I am coming back here.
Michael Thomas is a kind and personable salesman. He shot straight with us and didn’t push or jerk us around. We negotiated a great Out the Door price with him for a vehicle before we arrived, and he and his manager didn’t change or add anything to it when we arrived. Everyone was very kind when we got there and we were in and out of the dealership with our new car in an hour. We had a great experience buying from Michael and Vann York and would do so again in the future!

He was very instrumental in past purchases and also my wife was so impressed with his approach that she purchased a Honda Fit and is very happy. Vann York provided me with incredible service. I had an auto accident and needed a new car. I put out a call to all central NC Honda dealers. I wanted a specific car and Richard Hamilton with Vann York quickly found the car I wanted at a great price. All of the other car dealerships tried to sell me a more expensive car or told me the car I wanted couldn't be found. Because I was injured in the auto accident, Richard had Don Panetta bring the car to my house and take me to my bank to close on the car. I feel this company goes above and beyond to give their customer what they want and provides amazing customer service. Richard and Don were great to work with.
I had a great experience with Corbett. He was professional, knowledgeable, and gave me the info I needed without the high pressure sales tactics that make car buying one step below dental surgery. I bought a Honda from this dealership about 2 years ago. My salesperson Doug was completely awesome. However the finance guy was a total tool, wearing his Mr. T bracelet/watch kit and made a vehicle warranty sound mandatory. Now it is totally my fault for falling for his gimmick, and that is why 3 stars instead of 2. If you are going to Vann York or any dealer, please know that the BS warranty is a total money grab and costs more than catastrophic engine failure over 2 years. Now I have the added bonus of getting multiple calls from an automatic dialer asking me to renew. The number is always different and consistently calling. My advice, if you must buy a car here, buy from Doug or Tony and tell the finance tool to abide by the payment range you provided you salesperson with. However I have had zero issues with my vehicle and do love it. I hope this was helpful.
Recently, my tire blew out on the highway. When I went to change my tire, it had a lock on it. The key for the lock, however, was nowhere to be found. Stranded on the highway, I called Vann York Honda & Mitsubishi in High Point since I bought my car from there AND get it serviced there as well. I personally have never seen or touched the tire lock and yet the dealership was not willing to assist in getting the tires unlocked.
Flow Honda in Winston Salem however jumped through hoops to help me get the lock off while Baity's Tire replaced the tire. Amazing customer service from these two!
If you are looking to buy a Honda in the Triad area, go out of your way to purchase it from Flow Honda, you will get treated well. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service from Vann York Honda & Mitsubishi in High Point and will not be getting my Honda serviced there again.
The wife and I had a great experience with Van York Honda from the Web Site and phone call to start the process, working with the sales team and business manager filling out all the paperwork was painless. Micheal Thomas did a fine job of setting up all features and showing us how they worked, the drive home was fun. Great dealership!
I purchased a 2007 BMW from this place and 2 weeks later it started having mechanical problems. They sold the vehicle for more than it was worth, $12,000. I am very unhappy about the purchase. I told them the car was having mechanical problems and their mechanics could not diagnose what was wrong because they did not have the tools or equipment to diagnose the problem and resolve the issue. I then took it to a different dealership and they diagnosed everything for me and gave me a copy of what issues the car had. Luckily they did not charge me for this favor. I then took it to Vann York Honda on Eastchester and told them the issue the car had and I gave them the documents of the parts the car needed to get fixed. Will the salesperson told me not to worry about it that he was going to see about getting it fixed and the he would call me the next day. A week passed and I never received a phone call from Will. I called everyday to speak to Will the salesman and tell me what he planned to do about fixing the car and he has been avoiding me. I leave voicemails for him and he never replies to them, he has not called me in more than a week. I am very upset with this dealership, instead of helping me they threw dirt on me. All they care about is the money and they make you think you're getting a deal but it is all a scam. I took my vehicle to this dealership within the warranty it had and they are just buying time and are waiting for me to surpass the warranty on the vehicle. The vehicle is sitting in front of the used car department which I dropped off on Thursday February the 23rd and I'm still waiting for Will to call me back. Kathy also lied to me about the car having been at the BMW dealership for mechanical work before being sold but I investigated further and found out that the car had never left the Honda dealership and the work done on the car had been minimal. They never bothered to look and see if the engine or transmission was in good condition.
Bought my first car from Vann York Honda and I am high satisfied with my decision on my first car! I was well aware of what was the best deal for me and I had excellent help. Mr. Moses and Mr. Louis took great care of me and helped me make the biggest decision on my own. Thank you guys so much!! Definitely recommending my friends and family!!
