My boyfriend and I go there for lunch twice every week. It's a ritual now. Good food and really cheap.

Service can be rather slow, however I am never disappointed with the food I receive here. They have an excellent selection of subs, specifically cheese steaks, that are all delicious. Be sure you have cash on you, as you can use a card but you will be charged a fee!

Steak and egg sub where have you been all my life? The French fries are really good too but if you get them to go they turn soggy and I wouldn't recommend it.

Unbelievable Ultra Uncle Sams Cheesteak, no lettuce or tomato, mayo on the side. Its as close to Philly as you can get, Don't be fooled by the other locations they are not the same, The Oakland location is the best. Thank you Uncle Sam! PS: Are the fries better than Mcdonald's french fries? You be the judge.

It says that they are open at 10:30, but I just waited outside for 15 minutes and they are not open. Maybe try hiring people who know how to tell time.

Uncle Sam's is always excellent. I've had many of their subs over the years and they never disappoint. One star off because the dining area here kind of sucks, but it is what it is. Their French fries are some of the best.
