My husband and I recently visited Blue Lake Tavern for the first time after hearing a lot of good things about it. We were disappointed. It was cozy, and had a beautiful viewbut we probably won't return. They weren't terribly busy, lots of people were ordering drinks only. We ordered burgers without buns, and the wait was over 30 minutes, and the burgers were tiny. We paid almost $30 for 2 tiny bunless patties, and 2 small sides of mixed veggies. There was a man yelling about how he had waited for his check for nearly an hour. Waitresses were disorganized and I heard one get snippy with a customer. The view was the only thing I enjoyed about the place.

Great food and awesome view from the deck. It's nice to see the history of the Tavern as well, with pictures of times past. It looks tiny from the outside, but it's huge inside.

Picturesque location overlooking the lake. Pretty solid service and good food and drink choices. The restaurant accommodated our large group well.

Beautiful lodge ambiance. Stunning overlook of Blue Lake. I haven't met the chef.but they are truly talented. Try the prime ribor the onion rings! I have never been disappointed with any dish I chose. Great date night spot! Classic bar with savvy bartenders. Check it out! Fire in the Hole! Rod

Our dinner was outstanding. Our service was excellent and of course it all way has that million dollar view. Very enjoyable evening.
