Good place to eat with friends. Karaoke night is a blast and is always packed. Good drinks too. Pool, but you have to play around the walls and tables set up nearby which is a constant pain.

We were out on the motorcycle when we stumbled on this place. Great deck overlooking the river. Impressive menu and the food was amazing. Beer was ice cold!

great place to grab dinner and drinks. Plenty of room for large groups. They have televisions to watch the game and AC in the summer. A huge list of drink options are available here including many craft beers.

Menu is small but was so surprised by the high level of food quality I get why. The portions are generous. The staff was genuine. The view on the deck by the river was amazing. Definite charm in the decor. Had the spinach artichoke spring rolls. Delicious. The hummus gyro was really wonderful. Lots of bright fresh flavor. Over all a very pleasant experience.

The staff seem to turn over quickly. Great beer selection. The food is okay. Atmosphere is decent. Great location on the river. Pool table needs more space, but otherwise nice.

Gypsy is my number 1 place in Big Rapids. Good rotating craft beer selection on tap and many more in bottles. The food is great and the prices are great, too.

I am a simple man. The staff is great, the beer is good, and I rather like their food. I do no need anything else. The view of the river on the patio is pretty great, however. Also, karaoke night is always a blast.

Might be my new favorite restaurant! Thursday night they have sushi menu & it was so good!!! Gypsy Nickel had a very laid back casual atmosphere. They also have a beautiful outdoor patio over looking the river! I can't wait to hang out here in the summer!

Great food, but country music makes my stomach turn. Barmaid is very prettyand pretty rude. My wife asked what is good on the menu and got "it's the same menu as every other day." They serve the tiniest beers I have ever seen, so next round I ordered two. She pulled them and handed them to me then said "you should have bought a pitcher, it would have been cheaper."
Well you should have been a little friendlier-I normally tip 30%. In your case I made an exception. I promise we won't trouble you again, we hate to put people out.
