Was my husband's birthday. Good wait-service. Food rather pricy.
Food was good but the music they had playing was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. It is a little pricey too.
I ordered the Jack Daniels Burger, expecting something similar to Friday's Jack Daniels burger and got nothing like that. The burger was prepared perfectly however they injected Jack Daniels whiskey into the burger. Good but not what I expected, for me not the best after taste but overall the burger was very well put together. We ordered the Chips Blanco and it was wonderful with a lot of cheese.
Fast friendly service even though we were the only ones in the dinning area. The dinner section of the menu is a bit pricey but the lunch section is reasonable. The dinning area has all tables with comfortable seating and is well separated from the bar area making it a good family area. The dinning area and bar area have their own entrance.
Food was good. Wine and canvas painting class there was awesome. Waitresses were slow and apologized for a wait on wine thoughthey ran out of wine glasses toomaybe they didn't know how to open a new bottle by themselves? That was a little weird. Cocktails were okay, but the atmosphere for wine and canvas was good and my grilled chicken dinner beforehand was great.
Fries were warm and soggy. Service is slow. Over priced for certain items you could get at a fast food restaurant.
Service is slow but friendly. Good atmosphere with option of dining or bar side. Has outside patio for food /drinks/socialising. Kid friendly on dining side. Restroom also clean, restaurant well maintained. Service time however, could be much better .
Not very busy on a Monday evening but waited 20 minutes for our cocktails, which were the drink special. (We were a group of four) Our house salads were served on super hot, fresh from the dishwasher plates. Was not offered dessert even though we were celebrating my birthday. We've dined here for years and it goes more and more downhill each time.
Great food. Friendly service. Big portions. Reasonably priced.
Service was meh, average at best. The dinner salad was good and the beer. The main course of roast beef was awful. I recommend avoiding this place.
Had appetizers before drinks. Not great service. Much better on weekends.
I have been coming here, with my family for the last 3-4 years. I believe it to be one of the nicer places to enjoy some great food , drinks and tons of TVs. In that time frame I have only had one bad experience and the Manger was quick to address the situation. .It's worth a try if you are in the area. Besides they always have a bottle of Kessler Whiskey!!!!
We decided to grab take out tonight for the very first time. We ordered 1 smothered burger, 1 blackened burger and a kids burger with just pickles. I went to pay for it and noticed they charged me .50 cents for EACH item. An extra $2.00 a burger for tomato, onion, soggy lettuce and onions. Oh and .50 cents for pickles which was dill relish on my kids burger! It said on the menu it came with lettuce and tomato.Got the burgers home and they were un-eatable! The meat was rancid, smelled and had a green/brown color. We will never eat at Northern Trails again!
