We ate here after our Dolly Steamboat lake cruise today. The food was excellent, the service outstanding & we had a fantastic time there! And of course, the bathroom decorative painting made photos a Kodak moment! Thanks to Danielle for joining in on the fun! You are a GREAT server!

A beautiful scenic drive with very winding road crossing through 2 single lane bridges over Canyon Lake.
I think the food is great and our server was excellent! We especially like their house brew pale.
We visit Tortilla Flat at least twice yearly during our winter stay in Mesa.
Never disappointed!
Very busy during the winter months but hey, it’s a great place to spend a couple of hours so chill out and enjoy!

This small little town (if you can really call it a town) is awesome! Great history here! The people are great. The food at the restaurant was very good! When you walk in, take notice of the wall paper! Way to make your customers feel special! Definitely want to go back and try something else off the menu! Have fun!

Great place to stop and wet your whistle after a day on the water. Unique decor (Dollar bills cover the walls) with all manner of period items throughout the establishment. Food was average pub food. The beer was frosty!

Very nice place. The chili is what we go for and the prickly pear ice cream. Love it. The road is a little rough getting there but well worth the travel.

Worth every bit of the drive out to Tortilla Flat. A beautiful scenic drive down to Canyon Lake with countless picturesque photo ops along the way. Tortilla Flat's restaurant is amazing and the food is delicious. Also you can enjoy a very reasonably priced gift store that carries a wide variety of Southwestern items. You'll be glad you paid Tortilla Flat a visit!

Was in Phoenix on business and had some time on my hands. Drove out for the view and had dinner there. Staff was great, beer was good, burger was pretty decent. Staff even suggested we go further up to a plateau for a great viewit was pretty good.

The scenic ride alone is worth the trip! And it's quite the bonus that there is a place to stop and get some ice cream, and perhaps some other trinket that you need after having something to eat while stopping there. It's just short trip away from the city and you can feel like you went on a far away vacation to the Wild West to mine some gold!

I really like coming here. Good vibe. Only issue I have is the no gun signs on the establishments. Really out of place for a old western town in Arizona. I just can't spend any money in a place with a no gun sign. Just a personal rule for me.

This is a fun, unique place to eat up by canyon lake. The food is good, the service is fast, the environment is fun! Little tidbitgo in the restrooms if you want a good laugh!

I love coming here, the drive out offers great scenery. There are plenty of nice spots to stop and take photos or walk around a bit.
The town itself has a lot of character. I've eaten in the restaurant twice and both times the food was really good especially for the price. With friendly service to boot.
The shop also offers a selection of ice cream which I say is a must in the desert heat.
I'll probably come back here the next time I am in Scottsdale.

The drive to the restaurant was beautiful. Had a great time at the lake and hiking near Tortilla Flat restaurant. Walked in and asked the hostess if any of the items on the menu were wheat free. I explained that my son has a wheat allergy. She sarcastically laughed and said I don't know but the food is good. We left and drove to los gringos locos in Apache Junction where we had a great meal after asking if they had wheat free options. We left a big tip and will definitely eat at Los Gringos Locos again!

This place has characterI will give it that! Dollar Bills covering every surface inside the place with plenty of local artifacts on the walls. The service staff was friendly and efficient. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. The drive up offers some great vistas of the natural environment and fun roads to drive on (as long as you're not stuck behind slow traffic).
