Played Dec 7. Arrived to bago drop and bags were taken and we were directed to golf shop.
Check in was good and friendly.
Balls not inclued so had to purchase.
Tried to go to range with cart as bags had been loaded on cart. Told we would not be given a key until tee time but could unload and carry clubs to range. This is ridiculous. Why take clubs and load them on cart only to have to unload to practice before round. Seemed staff was very controlling of cats and keys.

Course was in great shape. Greens were rolling well and we'll manicured. Overall golf experience was good. Cart person was only by a couple times during round.

After round we went to clubhouse at 3pm. Told we could not order food as kitchen had just closed for the day. Left a bad final impression on out group.

Golf course is nice and in great shape but rules around purchase of balls for range, when keys for carts are given and inability to get food after 3 made for an experience we will not return for.

As a snowbird I always play Longbow several times a winter. The course is in great shape and usually a very enjoyable day spent on a well maintained course. The staff is very accommodating to ensure you have a great experience. Today there was an exception, the starter named Dave was on a power trip. His rudeness and arrogance was not the kind of treatment you would expect from a course. Very disappointed in how he treated us was a definite black mark on the course.

Our group of 12 had one of the most amazing golf experiances down here in Pheonix at this course. The course itself was in immacluate shape. The marshall could have been in better spirits. However, the most memorable part or our experiance was Jojo who works in the resteraunt. She made our entire day with her incredible hospitality and attitude. Out of the 7 days of golf and the 7 courses we played, this course, for at least me and I know many others, will have been a favorite just with just the thought of Jojo. Thank you Longbow for the amazing trip.

Can be pricey but it's because it has one hell of course, always in good condition. Also, very friendly staff. You almost forget you are in mesa.

Wow! What a beautiful and challenging course. The staff were beyond friendly and eager to help. We showed up before our tee time and they were able to get us out early. Course was in great shape, greens rolled fast and truemake it a point to play this course, you won't be sorry.

I have played Longbow Golf Club a few times. Always enjoyed my rounds. Longbow is a *tough* golf course to play for any skill level in this already wonderfully frustrating game. The views are great. The small aircraft landing low at Falcon Field AND the Boeing Apache helicopters going on test-runs all on the front 9 is also a nice touch.

I was told by another golfer who has played Longbow frequently that the golf course was converted from an old archery rangehence the name I suppose. However, you do have to be dead-on with your golf clubs as well as the golf course doesn't let up. The fairways narrow in spots. The greens small and fast. You can play this golf course as target-golf OR links-style. I have heard murmurings about the 'lack' of sand in bunkers, but that is what they are going for and if you know how to work the thin sandthere should not be any complaints. It is good sand, but just different than an fancy-resort conditioned golf course white sand.

Longbow has a great layout that is enjoyable and always in great shape. A must-play in your golfing day so to speak.

On March 24th my wife and I and another couple had an experience at Longbow that was pretty bad. Our round on this beautiful course took nearly six hours. I was very unhappy and I emailed the general manager of the course. The GM responded almost immediately. He said that was highly unusual, that most rounds there took 4-4 & 1/2 hours. He said would get to the bottom of the situation, and invited our group back to play a complimentary round. We completed our comp. round today in 4 hours and 5 minutes. The GM was as good as his word, The course is beautiful and I highly recommend playing there.

Very poorly run golf course. It took over 5+ hours to play, with the ranger going home at 3. Will never play there again and would not tell anybody to play this poorly run course!!!!!

Had my best game here. Make sure to take spare balls as its a desert course and they go missing if you are beginner/intermediate player. If you like planes they have some neat ones fly overhead but can be a bit distracting as they're quite low on occasion.
