Super cool place! It's very small, which gives the impression of an underground spot. Wait wasn't too long for 2. They allow us to go to the pub next door to wait since there's nowhere to go inside the restaurant. We had a drink and were able to take it up with us when we were seated. Server/bartender was nice and helpful with recommendations! Food was out of this world! We had the kimchi ramen. My friend got it with a side of pork belly and I highly regret that I didn't pay the additional cost for my own pork belly. It was so flavorful and tender. Seating is very community style and tight, but totally worth it all. The decor and the hip hop (and rock) music created the perfect vibe as soon as you walk in. I can't wait to go back!

We get ramen here probably once a week if not more. They have a great selection of Japanese whiskeys as well and offer flights with your choice of whiskey. The food is delicious but make sure you call ahead. Seating is tight and they are always busy. Totally worth the effort.

I got the Taipei Curry Chicken Ramen. So tasty! First of all, the broth was very flavorful. I could eat just the broth if I had to! But all the ingredients were great, especially the fried chicken. We were told it would be an hour wait, but it turned out to be about 30 minutes. (Makes sense, it's a pretty small space) There's a bar below and an arcade next door if you want to kill some time while waiting for your seats. This place is definitely worth the wait. We will come back next time we're in D.C.

The place makes the best food! We drove from Delaware to eat there. It was worth every penny and the long drive. They have the game on lock. No place better and the veggie dumplings will blow your mind!!!

We got lucky and got in without a wait. The ramen was good but I have had much better. Their version of an old fashioned is delicious though.

Walked in and it's TINY but overlook that, this is a cool spot. Loud music, close encounters seating but overlook that. The Pan-fried Dumplings were probably the best I have ever had. Lots of flavor and the presentation is beautiful. I ordered the Curry Chicken Ramen dish, and I am salivating over every other dish that has passed before my eyes while I wait. Almost ate from the plate of the lady sitting in the next stool. Great drinks, friendly staff. Be prepared to hunt for a parking place but it's worth the hunt. GET HERE!! NOW, BACK TO MY MEAL!!

Such great ramen. Really spicy soup that's perfect for a rainy or cold day. The atmosphere is very intimate with lots of seats in a small upstairs room, you'll be elbow to elbow with your soup-eating neighbors. Because of the small dining area, you might have to wait at peak times, but the quick service should make your wait pretty short. And the food is well worth the wait.

It's a bit difficult to spot on the street and extremely small, so you may be elbow to elbow with strangers next to you. The noodles, though, are really tasty. The soup is rich but not too oily, a bit more on the saltier side. They have interesting selection of Japanese beer, which is a pleasant surprise. Since they don't really do reservation, you will either have to come early or prepare to wait.

Hands Down best ramen in DC! Super flavorful and rad atmosphere. Be ready for a wait thought, 2-3 hours during the evenings/weekends. Hit one of the H street bars while you wait, it's worth it!

We tried this because we kept hearing about how good it was but I wasn't very impressed. The food wasn't bad, but there's better Ramen in the city. The chicken buns was also just okay, nothing spectacular. Once again, there's better chicken buns in the city. I'm glad I gave it a shot but it doesn't even rank in my top 3.

After seeing Toki Underground on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives, I knew I had to get there. Toki was as great in person as it looked on TV. The spot itself can be difficult to find if you aren't looking for it, and it's popularity greatly outstretches it's seating capacity. We saw people beginning to like up outside 15-20 minutes before opening.

The veggie dumplings were absolutely amazing. I can't wait to try the pork; but it will be thought to pass up the veggie. The Toki Ramen was really tasty and hot the spot on a cold day. The broth tastes great and the toppings were generous. This is the best Ramen I have had in the U.S.

This is one of our local favorites. We eat there probably once every 2 or 3 weeks. It is a small space, so we usually do take our since we live in the neighborhood.

The food is simply amazing. We love the Abura Tsukeman! I recommend this place to all who come to visit us and are looking for a great place on H Street to eat.

The food is absolutely amazing. It's an otherwise small area and the waiting time is extraordinary sometimes, but it's worth it if you're going once in a while. Some cool bars nearby to pass the time when waiting to get a seat.
