Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to my questions and food allergy. Food was lovely and priced about the same as any mid-level DC restaurant (entrees ~$25). I had the grouper in saffron beurre blanc sauce. I've since gone back numerous times and generally order the full mussels dish as I find it my favorite in town after a few years of sampling. I sat outside which was very pretty, but they have one table next to a sewer drain Does not smell pleasant so make sure not to sit there. Happy hour is limited to a few drinks and only at the cramped bar area.

Good octopus and eastern oysters. My colleague had the mussels with wild mushrooms and truffle cream. Both tasted excellent!

They have nice some really nice Belgian cuisine. I would like them to tune their music ambience.

My mouth was watering as I made the reservation for dinner here with my cousin. We'd eaten here five years earlier and were excited to return. The octopus was the best I've ever had and tonight was no exception. Our server, John, shared just the information we wanted to hear to select several plates to share. The octopus was as good as we remembered. The eastern oysters were not too briny and the mussels with wild mushrooms and truffle cream were excellent! My cousin has now converted to become a mussel and oyster lover! We look forward to returning!

Could not be happier with my experience here. My friend and I were a bit under dressed and were treated just the same as everyone else. The wait staff were not only knowledgeable but friendly and welcoming. The patio was beautiful and not overcrowded. The food was phenomenal and the beer was amazing. 10/10 would go again (dressed a little better next time)!

We went here for brunch to celebrate our anniversary and were so happy we picked this place.
    1) Service = The service was great. A few mentioned that service wasn't so great but we did not find this to be the case. Ralph was extremely attentive. The bread was brought out warm and the butter was very easy to spread.
    2) My husband ordered the classic mussels and biscuits and gravy and he says both were VERY good.
    3) I ordered the steak frites and it was also very good. The steak was tender, the sauce was tasty, fries were crispy and the watercress was good.
    4) Ambiance = Everything was nice, we sat outside for the lovely weather and had an umbrella for shade.
    5) I recommend getting the bottomless mimosas!

My taste buds crawled out and choked me, because nothing else can compare to the beer here.

Amazing beer and food! Make sure you ask Dean to work up a beer pairing with your intended meal!

Fresh oysters, the plumpest most flavorful mussels I've ever had, good frites, and an amazing beer selection. The only thing that could make this place better is if they had a patio, oh wait they do! Honestly one of the best meals I've had in years.

Went on a Friday night, was warned by my date about the potential for horrific service. I can say first hand, service, along with the food was wonderful. Waitress along managers were very attentive to needs. Would recommend to anyone!
