Best food i have had in a long time! May be a little pricey, but its worth it! Plus the interior of the resturant is very elegant yet classical. Worth coming back to!

Excellent menu, service and atmosphere. Great choice for a nice date, family dinner or business lunch. Classy, cozy and affordable. Love the historic photos in the Men's room.

    This is an excellent place.

Our bartender Steve was amazing, attentive, friendly, and funny. He gave us a lot of background info on the city and the restaurant. He refilled our drinks without us needing to ask and he took great care of us.

Our party ordered wings, sliders, fries, french toast with turkey sausage. All amazing and delish. Like really yummy.

Quick service, off menu requests we're accommodated, will recommend to friends and will be back.

We were in DC from Chicago.
We ate at Clyde's 2 nights in a row.
    Our waiter Will was exceptional.
He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The next time I'm in town I will definitely return to Clyde's Galley Place.

Went there 2 nights in a row on vacation! Service was exceptional one of the nights but the food was absolutely fantastic! I had the bratwurst the first night and the pork schnitzel the second. My husband had the meatloaf BOTH nights because he said it was so amazing!

Interesting decor, decent menu solidly executed, helpful staff in a convenient location. Nice bar on ground level, more formal restaurant upstairs. Good for group meetings, but not ideal for family or romantic night out.

I've had many experiences at restaurants and this was by far the less than desirable experience I've had in years. As a native Baltimore raised guy I know the quality of seafood and the crab cakes here tasted like fake, frozen crab cakes for the price of Higher than normal seafood in Baltimore. When we were ready to eat our silverware was filthy along with our booth We asked for a cup of hot water to soak our silverware and we received it once our food was frozen cold. Server was nice but really pushy about upselling deserts and appetizers. Would not recommend this place except for a place to impress a side chick.

It's an ok bar with a good location and good decor. I've been a few times with work friends and had pleasant experiences, but Friday night I was very unhappy with the service I received. The tall, black bartender at the front bar left my beer sitting under the tap for several minutes after filling the glass. When I drew his attention to this, he rolled his eyes and brought it to me. This then happened every time I ordered a drink. He then started to be rude to one of the people I was there with and gave here some serious attitude when she asked for the same thing that another patron had just asked for. He's a dick. I'm in the industry, so he still got a decent tip because I know Friday nights can be rough, but I'm not going back.

They never get it wrong at Clyde's. It's nothing fancy or exquisite, but they're not trying to be. The service is never amazing, but always good. This isn't ground-breaking cuisine - it's straight forward American fare - and the quality is always solid. I got the pan seared scallops. They were cooked perfectly - seared on the outside and tender on the inside - not an easy feat. It's not cheap, yet far from exorbitantly expensive, and the portions are perfectly reasonable for the price. If you're looking for a good selection of traditional American dishes, you can't go wrong here.

It's a solidly okay place but not a place I'd feel worth going to unless you are seeking a generic restaurant to meet the needs of a diverse group.

It is huge and has this mahogany old boys club feel. Service was reasonably responsive. The food was okay but nothing special, I had to ask for extra sauce since it was a bit dry. However, the margarita was nice.

The biggest benefit is that the kitchen is open fairly late unlike many other places.

I was here for a private event. We had a nice private space with a balcony that overlooked the inside of the Gallery Place Mall. Not exactly scenic but interesting. Drinks were reasonable for DC but not a full bar as it was away from the main dining room so options were more limited. Had some appetizers that were pretty good including hummus and various dipping options. I've been here for dinner before as well. It can be very busy and crowded and the food is not that memorable. I prefer some of the brand's other restaurants better but it's a convenient location with nice private space. Recommend if that is what you are looking for.
