Overpriced tourist trap that caters to unsuspecting yahoos who don't know any better.
I came with a group of 8. Derek served us without hesitation. I asked for an old fashioned, and it did not disappointment. Derek took care of us. He made the best old fashioned I have ever had. If I ever come back to Chicago, I will absolutely come back to this bar.
This place is a joke
Cocktails are terrible
The table was dirty wet and sticky
We had 3 different type cocktails and all 3 were just disgusting
Food: fries for 18$, server brought spoon for dessert without napkin and put it on the dirty table.
Also ordered grilled octopus, it actually tasted pretty good but it was cold
So if you are looking for a place to make a couple nice pictures u can go here
If you are looking for a restaurant don't ever go here, you will just wasted your time and money
Awful service. No assistance or apology offered from manager. Spent over $500 on lunch for 7 people, never received part of the order. Were told 30 minutes after we ordered that they were out of mussels. So, like fools, we ordered the Benjamin burher($100) instead. This was not brought to the table for 40 minutes. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend.
Don't tell 'em you're only there for a cocktail cuz they'll seat you farthest away from the railing and they were snotty and full of themselves at the host station.mediocre (although expensive!) cocktailsthey don't know how to make a proper Old Fashion (no muddled cherries or orange) and I grew tired of watching our cocktails perspire on the bar that I walked over and grabbed 'em myself! Sheesh Great view though, but I had to squeeze between two tables at the rail to see it!
Relaxing atomsphere. We took our time and enjoyed the best view of the city - followed by Wednesday night fireworks. Our server was great, the food was great. Come to relax and "take it all in".
We all completely regretted being there before we even got our food. Then once we got our food, it was way over. Terrible service with overpriced goods mixed with under par food = no thank you
Attended an event for a magazine, and the terrace was the perfect backdrop for everything related to Chicago. It has great views and ample space to spread out. The cocktails that were served were delicious. Will definitely be back during warmer months.
Wish I could give it no stars. Over priced, undercooked meals prepared by 11th city players who were more interested in their audition that afternoon than finding out what was gluten free because they couldn't locate the "Death Menu" (their words overheard). Simply horrible experience.
Service was slow. Small area. Only on 16th floor. Wish it was on a higher floor for a better view of the city.
Clown attack: I had heard about clowns hiding behind trees and stuff, and jumping out to scare children this year. I didn't know it could happen in a place with such an expensive view. I was just sitting down with some fruity drink that cost three hours out of my paycheck, and this fat guy comes in with orange face paint, a ridiculous wig, and the worst-fitting suit you ever saw. He starts waving his hands around and not only acting like he owns the place, but literally claiming he owns the place. Creepy, dude. No thank you. Go back to the woods.
