Excellent stay. It may be an old building with great history. But, the room was updated to modern levels. It was quiet and comfortable. The people were really nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

The service was perfect and the view was amazing from our executive suite. If you want space get the king executive suite with a lakefront view, you won't be disappointed. The service among the entire staff from the valet, bellhop, front desk and cleaning staff was well received. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maybe in the future the Conrad suite will be in my sights.

We had a block of three rooms. They couldn't put us anywhere near each other. My in-laws rooms had ants, like a lot of ants. Our room was fine. But I checked my statement for my credit card last week and found that someone else had charged almost $80 to my room. How is this possible?!? They told me they would look up the receipts and sort it out and get back to me in 2-3 days. It's been a week and no contact. I'm likely going to have to dispute the charges and figure out it another way. The location is nice and the hotel has historic beauty, but it's just not worth all of this hassle.

The hotel is located very centrally, right on Michigan Ave. It was. Wry close to walk to talk the L to many Chicago attractions and landmarks like Wrigley field, Willis tower, the bean, the pier, the planetarium and more. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous with elaborate designs and features like their grand stair cases, chandeliers in the ballroom, and fountains. The rooms were spacious and clean with great views of the city. I would definitely stay here or attend events here in the future.

I worked a private event at the hotel that covered multiple floors and can say that the Hilton is gorgeous. I live in the South Loop and have walked by the hotel multiple times but had never been inside- it gorgeous to say the least. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly to myself and team members. All of the rooms we used were clean and fully stocked at all times with anything we asked for. I would absolutely come back as a guest and will be referring family and friends to stay here during their next trip to Chicago.

The hotel is nice and the location was perfect. The little food/drink place in the lobby is pure robbery. I paid $19 for 2 bottles of water and a small bag of chips. The only negatives for me would be the blue light from the smoke detector that leaves a nice blue light ring on your bed while trying to sleep. The other negative for me and I guess it is a problem I should expect staying in the city is the constant horn honking and sirensthey never stop. Other than that, my experience was great.

Classic hotel. Easy check-in. Rooms are nice (double bathroom, which is weird, but whatever). Facilities for meeting rooms are good, but under-air-conditioned. Responsiveness to special requests exemplary. Dining rooms inside hotel loud, but available. Kitty O'Shea's a good bar. Tuck shop closes down a little early.

The hotel is easy to access from main street. Interior is clean and welcoming lobby. Very open space, surprisingly they have an entire hair salon downstairs! Along with some cool anaxj shops and 2 gift shops. The pool is clean and gives you a great overlooking out to the park and lake. Room was comfortable and secure.

My stay was for the night of September 3, 2017.

I e-checked in and chose a room the day before on the Hilton Honors app, but my room was not even ready for me when I checked in around 4:30~5:00 pm even though check-in is at 3:00 PM.

The food at the restaurants on the property was nice. Loved how they had separate elevators for different floors to make them more efficient.

Having two restrooms in the room is an awesome feature that my friend and I really enjoyed. We were moved to a room with a city view, which was very nice. The beds and comforters were comfortable.

My biggest issue was being woken up on 3 separate occasions in the morning, once around 7~8 AM, again at a little after 9 AM, and once more around 10 AM by housekeeping trying to knock on the door to come in to clean and prepare the room for the next guest. I would understand if it was just once, but the second and third time was definitely an annoyance. I know that they can see who is in-house in the system and who is not. Check out time is not until 11 AM. So for them to consistently come knocking was rude and unprofessional.

When we checked out via their phone system. which is VERY convenient, I noticed that a bag of linens and sheets were just sitting outside of our room door. That seemed quite unprofessional looking and a bit unsanitary.

Overall, the stay was pleasant until the morning we were to check out. Location is also perfect, right across from the Buckingham Fountain.

We checked in the day before and got to pick the room. These photos are out the window of room 2112. That room is right at the front of the hotel, on Michigan Ave. You can clearly see Navy Pier and Buckingham Fountain. The room itself isn't huge. You do have a small refrigerator and a coffee maker, and a safe inside one of the nightstands. It is clean, and the bed was comfortable. The lobby of the hotel is very inviting. It still has the grandeur of days gone by. There are 14 elevators in the lobby to get the guests to each of the 2500+ guest rooms. I would go back. It is within easy walking distance of anything in Millennium or Grant Parks.

We're locals so this was a staycation and our first time here. The check-in was a bit crowded at the time as a convention is going on but that's to be expected. We self parked and as a former valet if you are a leery driver, valet. The room was nice and we had a city view saw we could watch trains go by and see the Sears Towers. Now the bathroom was small but it worked for the space. Service was topnotch and the hotel is beautiful. There's tons of things to do in walking distance or you can take a taxi to get around.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around

Second time staying at the Hilton for a weekend getaway. Purchased the park and stay package. The location is perfect if you want to visit classic Chicago attractions. The room was spacious and very clean. They provide clean towels, desk, alarm clock, in-room safe, coffee maker, mini fridge, etc. We had no problems in our room. I liked that they have security posted at the elevators to make sure not just anyone could go up to the guest floors. The bed was super comfortable. Check in and out was simple and easy. Definitely will return for future getaways!

The LED light from the smoke detector shines a 24 inch diameter light right on the pillow. It was like having a flash light shined in your eyes when you are trying to sleep. I informed the desk staff and they said that they had reports of this issue. They said that there were only a few rooms open but they could upgrade me for an additional $74.00 per night. I did not want to pay an additional $370 for my stay. I asked if I could put a piece of tape over the led and was told no. So I asked for two blankets. Which they delivered. Some where I remember seeing a card in the room about making it right.. Ha! $199 a night and I had to sleep on the floor.
