Extremely bad experience. In this particular instance, I wore a hoodie to breakfast and was spoken down to by the hostesses. I could not believe how rude they were to me in front of my siblings during a healthcare tech business trip. Only after they confirmed I was staying at the hotel did they begin to speak respectfully. Everybody in the restaurant stared and made me more grateful to be in tech where individuals aren't judged by dresswear. My brother felt the same way and it was outright embarrassing. This was the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Sleeping experience is great! I thought it was still night when my alarm rang at 9am. In the lobby someone will come to you every minute to offer help, water, ask if you need a taxi, etc.. it's a bit annoying if you are simply there waiting for someone. But the really bad thing is in-dining charges: 18% gratuity automatically included plus $6 delivery fee PER PERSON.

Need to be renovated and updated. Thought it would be more luxurious for the price of over $500 a night and they don't even offer free Wi-Fi! But on a better note, the staff are very friendly.

I stayed here for a friend's wedding held at this location. Easy enough to get to by car. Parking from 8pm Friday to 2am Sunday cost $140. Not my favorite thing to spend money on. I forgot a pair of shoes in my car. It took 4 phone calls and over 2 hours to get those. My wife almost missed her pictures as she was in the wedding party and they were her shoes. Nothing too impressive about the hotel unfortunately. The rooms were comparable to any other mid range hotel I've ever stayed in. The wedding itself was great none the less!

I came here and was expecting a ton and when I got here I was not disappointed. The concierge was very nice and helpful, told me the best places to go. The food tastes great and the servers were very nice. I'm staying in a room with a view of the statue of liberty and shortly learned how great the telescope was and fell in love with the Ritz Carlton.

We stayed in room 233 and had an amazing experience the entire time. Room service was great, the staff was very professional and very helpful. I stayed here for vacation and leisure, the ritz made this trip that much easier to relax. 5/5

Food and service were excellent, though menu is somewhat limited. The m'aitre d, Milan, was very attentive and made us feel special by checking in with us several times. The view of the sunset over the Hudson was beautiful.

I am a Marriott Rewards Gold member. I booked two Statue of Liberty View rooms in this hotel a month and a half ago and requested them to be adjoining and to have 10am early check-in. One was to have a king bed, and the other two double beds.
Upon arrival at 10am we were told the rooms would be ready in an hour. As of noon they still weren't ready. At 1pm they gave us a key the room with the king bed. We went up to the room and they key didn't work. One of the front desk employees had to come up and let us into the room with a master key. As we were leaving at 2pm the front desk still didn't have our room key issue sorted out and informed us that the connecting room was no longer available. When questioned they said it wasn't guaranteed. So we left and went out sight seeing. When we arrived back at the hotel around 5:30pm and tried to check into the second room we were told that there were no Statue of Liberty View rooms with double beds left but they could give us one with a King. Since the room type is guaranteed they gave me a $100 credit and a free dessert. We were given they keys to both rooms. Upon arriving in the second room we found out it was missing the telescope and called the front desk to report it. No one brought one up to us for the next hour or so until we left for dinner. Upon arriving back from dinner the telescope was in the room. It has now been six weeks since I checked out and I am still waiting for my Marriott Rewards points and nights to post. Marriott doesn't have the correct info from the hotel to post them and the people in the hotel's office haven't responded to me. I am very disappointed in the level of service at this hotel both during and after the stay. If I want good service on my next trip to NYC I won't be choosing the Ritz Carlton in Battery Park.

It's the Ritz. Need I say more. Friendliest must welcoming staff who are always eager to please. Lots of allergen friendly options at the eateries. As a matter of fact, the front desk manager had fresh cookies and milk waiting for us in our room. Unfortunately, my little girl is gluten sensitive so I called to say thank you but we couldn't eat the cookies. They somehow produced delicious gluten free cookies and took the one's she couldn't eat! Now that's customer service!!! Thanks for a great stay.

Stopped by to meet our CEO. The lobby has wood and glass decor. Very professional looking staff. Located just across from Battery Park.

Extremely spacious rooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms had a bath tub as well as a separate shower. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating when I arrived and throughout my stay. Fitness center had multiple treadmills and ellipticals so no issues with having to weight. Additionally had quite a few strength machines on top of free weights which was nice. The only issue was that the room was a little tight when there were more than 5 people utilizing the weight lifting areas. Additionally had a great view of the Statue of Liberty which was a nice plus.

Nice hotel with a view of the statue of liberty. Doormen are nice and engage in conversation. Accommodation's for our event were above average.

The amenities are wonderful. The staff was so considerate and attentive. It was a great place to begin and end each day during our visit to the city celebrating our daughter's 16th Birthday! Our flight was cancelled due to the "blizzard" and the hotel was a wonderfully warm place to hang out, visit with friends and enjoy the snowy day. Thank you so much!
