What a great hotel! We have stayed there twice now, and our last experience has solidified that it will always be the hotel we stayed at while in NYC. It's convenient to subways, has reasonable overnight parking prices, and the front desk staff are always super friendly and willing to help!

    Definitely NOT a 4 star, I’d give it a 3

We stayed in Dec for three nights with our family and had three rooms. I booked it via name your own price on Priceline looking for a 4 star hotel this is not a 4 star. I’m guessing the reason it’s rated a 4 star on National sites is because of location and amenities, not the quality of the hotel.

    The Good;
The rooms were very large and spacious for NYC.
We had a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator which was convenient
    Location is Great
    Staff was friendly and helpful
    Good value for the area

    The Bad
Wrong Star rating! Should be a 3 star.
Old decor and the finishes in the room needs to be updated
Only a half of shower door (odd)
No bell staff to help with Luggage
Beds were very hard and not comfortable

    Stayed: December 2017

The stay itself was alright, the hotel was nothing special. Room was clean but looked outdated which was fine. It was not until we were leaving that we ran into problems. We parked at the parking garage across the street and were told it was $45 to park there overnight. In the morning while we were checking out we asked if there was a time we had to move the cars by, the person at the front desk said that it did not matter what time we left, the rate would be still be $45, so we decided to leave our car there for the day since it would not cost us extra. We get back later in the day and go to pay for our parking and we were told we would have to pay double because it was past the 24 hours we were allowed to keep our cars there. We told them that we were told different information and would not have left our cars here if that were the case. Even after they realized that THEY made a mistake they pretty much told us "too bad" (politely of course). It was a shame that they could not do anything for us because of a mistake on their part. If you are considered staying here I would recommend you stay elsewhere unless you do not have many other options. We thought it was a cost effective option but they try to get money out of you any way they can apparently.

Rooms were nice and spacious. Location is great. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Cleanliness is the most important for me. They have a nice themed New York decor as well.

The only positive I can share is the hotel room was clean. Other than that, we were unimpressed with the service, the fact that coffee was supposed to be available 24hrs/day in the lobby and the whole 5 nights we stayed there was NEVER coffee, staff was not helpful, the shower looked good but wasn't functional bc the glass partition only went halfway across the tub

Eurostars is a great hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and has the necessities. Staff was extremely accommodating and nice. The only reason, which to me is big, is that I ordered a triple room with two queen beds. We entered our room to only see 1 king. We complained and they upgraded us to a suite with a pull out sofa bed. It seemed they had booked our room away.

Not a particularly nice hotel, but no real problems! Shower was fine, towels were clean and bed was comfortable. Had a bit if a hostel vibe in terms of quality of the actually place, so don't expect supper nice furniture and such. Would absolutely stay again though!

The hotel is complete modern on the inside yet on a very old building. It was a great place to stay and quiet. They even upgraded my room which was nice. The rooms are more like apartments. They serve all you can eat Continental breakfast for just $12 every day and in lower Manhattan that's great. Fit a any issues I had really it's nothing. My shower head was very low as I'm 6'4" so I had to bend down to wash. Not a big deal. A couple outlets I found we're just very loose so I couldn't use them for my devices, however plenty of outlets. Above all the staff was super friendly and inviting. The area is clean and quiet. The price was very affordable confusing again where I am in Manhattan. I still give them five stars because I wasn't surprised by anything I didn't already think I would expect while staying here. I was surprised by the over all staff, cleanliness, room cleaned every day and so forth. Highly recommended when staying in lower Manhattan.

Great location, spacious rooms, quite good amenities. However, the place looks run down, with bathroom closets almost falling apart, and with the faux hardwood peeling at edges

Very bad customer service. The guy in the front desk did not greet us upon arrival. He talked to his colleagues using European language that we can not understand when checking in with us. We paid for a queen bed but they only give us a twin/ double bed. We asked him about this and he told us all the bed are the same. Which isn't the case at all! I checked through the bed bug website and there are several customer reports that there are bed bug in the room. I was worried and e-mail them before I arrived to check the room and make sure the room is clean. No one replied! Luckily, I did not get any bed bugs just from seeing. The towels are very dirty, and they did not clean the room everyday day. They don't change our towels or bedding sheet. They don't even refill the shower gel and shampoo. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel as theirs are very cheap and poor quality. The shampoo makes my hair goes very dry and fuzzy. The furniture in the room are very old and out of date. Bathroom are dirty especially the showers. Bedding sheets and pillows are dirty with hairs and dust on it! This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The location is good near subway station. Not sure how they get it! You can find similar price for a much better hotel in this location. Do NOT recommend anyone to stay here for your trip!

This is certainly not a 4 stars hotel. It's an odd one. Great huge rooms. Easily twice the size of most 4 stars in the financial district. But the bathroom have these horrible, really horrible closets falling apart and stinking of old washing products and sometimes urine. Fix it! This is a shame. Also notices much uncleaned hair and dusty corners in the bathrooms. This place needs better management. Management needs to take their shower here a night or two a year!!

New York Eurostar. We stayed in the small apartment. One bedroom with sofa couch in living room. Room was super clean! Sofa mattress was firm and we slept like babies! Each room has its own thermostat for AC/Heat. Towels were super soft and thick! We loved the place. Only two blocks from subway to Times Square. We parked each night right in front of the hotel at meter! Love this place. It was a jewel of a find!
