This is probably our favorite place to eat in Columbus. The food is excellent every time, and the service is great. We usually get beef schwarma (very savory, and I prefer it with the green pepper spice stuff) and the moussaka (super flavorful—surprisingly so, like, I never knew eggplant actually had anything to offer to the world). Both are fantastic!

Tasty food and friendly, attentive service. The lamb shank, gyro platter and mushroom hummus were wonderful. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

Love this place. Just had the large Falafel Greek Salad and it was terrificfresh, healthy and tasty. Our server Olivia was friendly, professional and made our experience there exceptional. Can't wait to come back.

Incredible Mediterranean and middle-eastern food, and very reasonably priced! Most of it can be made vegetarian or vegan, too. The hummus is delicious, as is the falafel. Olive Tree has a really upbeat atmosphere and a friendly, helpful waitstaff. Be sure to try the desserts, too—the halvah is incredible (and vegan)!

This review is purely service since unfortunately we were not there long enough to order. We tasted this restaurants food at the taste of Hilliard and decided to go there for dinner this evening. Upon arriving the first employee let us know there would be about a ten minute wait to get a table, 2 adults and 2 kids (1 high chair). That seemed perfectly acceptable seeing as they were busy and the food smelled great. Not more than 3 minutes later another 4 person group walked in that apparently another employee knew and he sat them immediately in front of us even after the first hostess told him we were there first. With that we left and as we were walking to the car this employee tried to salvage the situation by claiming they were "waiting on the best table for us" clearly not true just trying to cover up his obvious mistake.

Well this was a place that we once loved. The original owner has moved on and the caretakers aren't taking care of the details. Salad clearly out of a bag. The humus that was once the best\creamiest is now gritty and no longer finished with a drizzling of olive oil as the menu describes (now swimming in lemon juice instead). Everything is in decline and that just makes me sad. Mexican music blaring the whole time (I'm a Mediterranean restaurant) didn't improve the experience.

Used to be a solid 5 and one of the best places to eat in Hilliard. In the last 6 months or so the food quality has fallen tremendously as well as the service. Used to have the owner come around to your table during your meal to chat and seemed to genuinely know and care for each person he spoke to. Recent visits he has not been there and the food quality isn't the same. Our favorite server, Alejandra, is no longer around and the wait staff, while pleasant, just doesn't feel the same. On several recent carry out orders the food has been of very low quality and either missing items or having wrong items in the order. Now I hear they may be opening on Mondays now makes me believe that they are in fact not making the same revenue as before and looking for ways to help boost income.

Olive tree is back!! Food quality is backy, wait staff is on point. Glad to see them back to the high standards the original owner set.

The Olive Tree is amazing! The food is out of this world delicious, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. The hummus is the best I've ever had and the gyro was fantastic. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Seriously, come here.

Olive Tree restaurant has become one of my favorites in town. The food is a mix of authentic Mediterranean with some American foods (like a hamburger). I love their deserts and will call in for a take out order of Baklava on my way home from work. They also offer a Sunday brunch. I have recommended to all of my friends looking for great food that is also a great value.
