Amazing food. I don't even like sweet potato fries, but the ones here have changed my mind. Food came out hot, and the burger was extremely tender. It's a little more expensive than your typical sit down restaurant, but totally worth the money.

The wait staff on the floor collectively deserve high praise. They move attentively throughout, always maintaining an air of courteous professionalism. I feel hip here. I feel at home. Sharing the long booths, slowly devouring a veganized Square Meal, I savor too a purely Columbus vibe.

One of my regular favorites. I love the Buddha bowl but the real food to go for is the brunch on weekend mornings. Food quality is amazing and the staff is ridiculously friendly. They always apologize if something is even 30 seconds late. Be aware parking is tough on weekends during brunch.

Probably the best veggie burger I've ever had! It's amazing. And you HAVE to order a ginger-aide. Dude a total game changer. Everyone who works there is extremely helpful. The staff works as one to basically just serve us. This place never disappoints. Make sure to leave them a tip and to order a cookie.

We often stop at Northstar on our way through Columbus even though it adds thirty minutes to the trip. The food is awesome. The coffee is great. Servers are a joy. When are you coming to Pittsburgh?

Love going here. Very busy around lunch time at Easton on the weekends but if you wait a few minutes sitting at the bar is great. You get served like a real restaurant and it's easier to get drinks at the bar. Everyone that works there is extra friendly.

If you've never been, it's totally worth a try. You'll get hooked on something. The veggie burger is OUT OF THIS WORLD. It's better than a beef burger and healthy for you. My father has a strict diet and can find a few things to eat here. Fun atmosphere, great food, and reasonably priced.

Wow! I'd go for the Ginger Ale alone! But then I had the Thai burrito! Amazing. The peanut sauce. So good. I heard their pancakes are great. Can't wait to try their breakfast. Friend who lives here took us. Thanks!

I'll break this Northstar Review into 3 Sections: Food, Location, Service
Food:
I would give the food itself 5 Stars, Their breakfast/lunch menu is great and I've yet to be disappointed with it. Their Dinner menu is also really good! I've had both their burgers and their fish sandwich and would recommend them. The price of the food may seem a little bit to expensive to some people, but everything tastes extremely fresh and everything is local and they make the bread themselves! So you're definitely getting what you're paying for. Great, fresh tasting food.
Location:
If you've been to the Northstar downtown, this one is a lot easier to access. It has a parking spot right behind it. The interior is also spacious so even though it gets jam packed there are many areas to sit in and even a nice outdoor section.
Service:
Northstar does an amazing job at hiring their staff. They are extremely friendly and provide great customer service.response / report this review -

The food I've had here is pretty average, and for the price I'd say it's below average. The customer service is awesome, I'll give them that. They messed up our order once and more than made up for the error. I've had $6 burgers that were far better than their $15 burger though. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options so maybe it's good for that kind of stuff. I'd say it's pretty overrated from my experience.

My wife LOVES this spot, I'm not a terribly huge fan of most of their offerings (too 'granola' for me) but they do make a damn good cheeseburger. So, get the cheeseburger.

Northstar is amazing and everything that I have ever eaten here is amazing. When they don't have what I want their first action is it fix it and make it better. You can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. It is a great place to go to for Brunch!
