The girl Kayla who works there is such a wonderful person. She always has a smile when guest come in. she greets me very politely. we usually talk in the office for about 15 minuets but she is such a wonderful staff member!

Eh. Not great, but not terrible. Needs updated. Fairly comfortable. Great location. There is a restaurant and drug store nearby. I had some small bugs on the table.

Nice clean rooms. Everything smells so nice. Extremely friendly staff willing to get me anything I need. Good hot breakfast.

the stay was nice & the staff was helpful especially a young girl named Kayla. she was very polite & very informative about which restaurants/ fast food was good to eat at. also very friendly & kind. I will be staying here again because of this young girls attitude.

DO NOT STAY HERE- BUGS AND BAD SERVICE.
I am a USC student and I was hosting my mom at the Vagabond Inn when she came to visit. First off, when we checked in the service was extremely slow, the one employee talked on the phone for 15 minutes with another possible client before checking us in. Then, we arrived in a room that smelled overwhelmingly of smoke (it was a "nonsmoking room") we requested a change and that was granted, but our new room ALSO SMELLED LIKE SMOKE. Then, much to my dismay, as i was putting my shoes on in the chair by the window, I noticed the curtain was COVERED IN ANTS. There was also hair in the shower. I attempted to bring all of this to the attention of the staff, but nobody seemed to care. After checking out, I called 3 on three separate occasions asking to speak to a manager, and NOBODY has returned my call. I cannot believe i spent just about $300 a night to stay in a place that SMELLS, IS DIRTY, and clearly DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS. 0/5 stars, I will never stay here again. I have never written a negative review before, but this place truly deserves it. Absolutely awful. Will be letting my family and friends @ USC know to avoid this dumpster at all costs.response / report this review -

good location, 2 blocks from transit and about a 15 minute walk to the Staples Center. Park right outside your room. Friendly staff, clean rooms, clean pool.

Clean hotel. Convenient location. Average price. Nothing unexpected with this booking which is nice when traveling. I was happy with my stay here. This motel did the job.

Me and my family stayed here for a night.. Although the AC takes an hour to chill the room, 5 stars because we had a very good sleep that night. At my parents room AC was not working, the reception lady understood and gave another good room for my parents. There is ample car parking and the breakfast is not that bad.

We stayed at Vegabond Inn by chance because we neglected to book in LA in advance. The front desk staff was very friendly ans had some suggestions of places we might want to check out. The rooms are clean and feature modern carpet and finishes. We primarily needed a place to sleep so the place was perfect for that. The outdoor pool is decent and kept at a reasonable temperature. Location wise there are a number of shops and fast food restaurants nearby within walking distance, which is nice. Overall seems like a quiet place to stay and relatively inexpensive too.

Room was decent but small. AC barely worked. Loud music at 7 am Sunday of my stay. Breakfast was nice bagels, donuts, cereal, juice, coffee. Drinking water available in lobby. Staff was kind and attentive.

Pretty basic accommodations. Clean, well-lit. Quite noisy due to being right off of S. Figueroa which is a main thoroughfare. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking for cars, and a nice outdoor pool. I would return here because it isn't so expensive. Free breakfast was pretty sad.
