Clean rooms. Great customer service. Stayed Thanksgiving week away from Colorado. Room service breakfast were surprisingly good. Had fun talking to Yuka-San and singing karaoke with the bartender, Kei-San. Sushi at their restaurant was excellent.

Japanese chain hotel, decent size rooms and comfortable stays overall. The price is not the most competitive, but for the neighborhood there is a very strong advantage to staying here. Toilets are automated which is great. I really enjoy being cleaned after making movements with water rather than paper, which can be harsh and scratchy at times.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

This hotel was far more than I expected. I thought it was a Japanese themed hotel, when in fact it is a Japanese hotel. From the minute of check in until the moment of check out , the staff was gracious and helpful. The hotel is solar powered, which was impressive in and of itself. The rooms were spacious, the bed was the most comfortable bed I had been on in years. The bathrooms were an amazing experience, in the private rooms and the public ones as well. Ultra clean. Also the way you access the individual floors is extremely secure. We didn't get to experience the restaurant only because there was a private wedding going on. With that being said, there are many restaurants of every ethnicity close by. I would not hesitate to stay there again, far better than any run of the mill chain restaurant. Planning to go back to LA next year and will definitely book again. One more thing that I didn't know until we arrived, but the hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the LAX airport.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Little Tokyo. Amazing service and located within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. I always stay here when I come to LA

We had a nice stay at this well located hotel just on the edge of Little Tokyo and DTLA. It was easy to get around from here on public transit. Our room was quiet as requested. This is a reasonable place price wise for the location. Food in the in-house restaurant is very good for both breakfast and dinner. We opted to add on an additional fee to our coupons provided for breakfast to have the full buffet. It was both American and Japanese.

For the past 6 years I have booked with Miyako for Anime Expo. They have really nice rooms especially for their price. They give you free breakfast if you are a triple A member. They are always super helpful and understanding. They did get rid of their Spa sadly, and I hope they replace it with something good.

This hotel is great for a vacation because it is located right in Little Tokyo. Great restaurants and shops are located within a 30 second walking distance.

Lucky I chose this hotel when event's hotel block filled. Excellent Bell Desk staff. Clean and comfortable. Attention to details, such as providing padded hangers, indicative of care taken for guests. Flavorful food choices close. Nearby Starbucks open 4am-1am.

Place is as advertised. Clean location but don't expect a very high end hotel. Location is not in the most prestigious area but is convenient place in little Tokyo.

Service was top notch. I got a free room upgrade because of the kind hosts.

Overall good value for the price you pay.

The Miyako Hotel Los Angeles is one of the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. I don't normally go out too much let alone check into hotels often, but Miyako deserves recognition for its existence. The rooms themselves were "quite nice". Simply saying "nice" wouldn't do much justice. Nice is what is expected; there is a certain flair that Miyako brings to the room which makes it better than the rest. Aside from the quality of the rooms, the next best thing that comes to mind about Miyako is that the location is near to so many attractions. I am visiting from the Bay Area and I pretty much only had the weekend to enjoy LA as much as possible. During my stay I was easily able to visit (walking or metro): Little Tokyo, Hollywood, China Town, and Staples Center. All in all I had a fun time and would highly recommend Miyako.

Although I found the room to be blah, I really had a great time staying here for a weekend wedding. It was too cold to see the roof deck in full swing but I am sure it is great time in the warm weather.

What a pleasant surprise to go to the hotel restaurant and have the best brunch of my life!
    Would gladly stay again.
