I honestly cannot fault this hotel!
Spotless clean, with polite and helpful staff and a quiet, refined atmosphere.
It is perfectly placed as it is literally in the heart of everthing, but still feels like a cosy little bolt-hole as soon as you're inside.
It's calming, comfortable, convenient and stylish.
You can keep to yourself, or wander down to the very good bar (there's actually two, and we liked the restaraunt bar best) and chat with many guests who are on their third, fourth or fifth stay at this well kept secret of a place.
Gregory's coffee right across the street and the red flame diner a couple of doors down make it easy to set yourself up for a day in the city, while the complimentary hot drinks in the lobby make it the perfect place to come back to when you've worn yourself out.
We had room 908 (family room with two double beds) and it was perfect for our needs.
The beds are comfy, the bathroom was amazing and the room itself was well sized and looked fantastic.
You don't get a view with this hotel, and in our opinion that small fact wasn't enough to detract from the many wonderfull things that this place has to offer.
    We'll definitely be back.

I was stayed at the hotel in May this year. The hotel is highly recommend, very high level of service, clean hotel and rooms, quiet rooms, excellent location on central midtown of manhattan.
The hotel has only 12 floors, an important fact in NY because of an elevator availability.

Great location, very friendly staff and comfortable beds. This was overall an excellent stay. A few downsides were the valet takes awhile to get your car (35 min for me) and the sink water would come out brown at first.

The location is prime real estate, especially for it being so close to Times Square. The room was very quaint and fairly fancy. The service was great although I didn't have extensive interaction with them.

Forget the hotels in Times Square this one out classes them all. Could not have have felt more welcome or comfortable. Amazing staff and quality room made our stay memorable. Being a smaller hotel, you will get service that is unparalleled and a throwback to better times when quality mattered. Located at 44th and 6th it's close to all the "action" of NYC but provides a quiet comfort when you are ready to settle in for the night. Class without being stuffy or snobby. We hope to have return trip and longer stay!

Hotels get torn apart on Yelp, so any hotel that has a 4+ rating, book it no questions asked. My wife, newborn daughter, and I stayed here for one night in March 2017 and would recommend it to anyone willing to pay NYC hotel prices ($250+ a night). Here's why:

    1) Location: The Iroquois Hotel is in a small historic building in the Theater District. It's two blocks from a beautiful park, Bryant Park, and 3-4 blocks from Times Square. Even though you're so close to the bright lights and crowds of tourists, you still feel like you're in your own neighborhood.

    2) Service: If the awards they've won displayed in the lobby aren't enough to convince you, just check in and see for yourself. The people at the front desk are very friendly and you're given a welcome letter, fruit, chocolates, and info on free walking tours around NYC.

    3) Amenities: For NYC, the rooms are bigger than most (Keep in mind it's the city So hotel rooms are not as spacious as the Holiday Inn in Grand Rapids, Michigan). Each room has an iron, safe, mini bar and the beds are sooooooo soft. Wow! The bathrooms are filled with top line toiletries. On the third floor is a 24/7 gym with treadmills, weights and weight machines AND a sauna! In the lobby, there's a restaurant and a 4 star cocktail bar where you can bring your drinks to your room.

    4) Kid friendly: They welcome kids and even provide a crib, etc at no charge. They even give your kids their own welcome kit.

I cannot recommend this hotel more. Next time you're in NYC, book it!

Always a pleasure to go back. Whilst the rooms are not the largest in midtown, they are comfortable, well appointed and surprisingly good value for money. Include the proximity to Triomphe and Lantern's Keep, you cannot go wrong.

We had a wonderful stay at the Iroquois Hotel. The staff is great and wiling to help you in any way. The location could not be better. Two blocks from Broadway. Close but not too close. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in NYC. Central location and the staff were very friendly and professional. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room given there was three of us. I would definitely stay here again.
