Clean rooms. No problems with the elevator (did not have to wait for it at any time).
Friendly staff.
Did not like that the toilet had no lid on it. Having a small (empty) fridge in the room was a nice touch.
It's next to Port Authority bus terminal.
We were first timers in New York City and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and nice!!! Every one of them! The room and the location were perfect! My daughter and I had a trip of a lifetime thanks to their planning. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
Small rooms but great value. Well situated and totally walkable to activities, food, and nightlife. Late check-out wasn't an option. Comfortable bed. If the price is right, I'll check it out again.
We spent a single night during a two-day visit to New York. The location was convenient and felt safe even after dark. The staff at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Access to restaurants and the theater district was easy, and the subway stations were nearby. We had a great time and would definitely return.
Hotel is room is great. Clean and modern. Staff is really friendly and helpful. My key kept getting demagnetized but they were super nice and helpful on fixing it each time.
Great location for first time NYC visitors. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. The 2 elevators are a bit slow during peak checkout/check-in hours.
Spent four days here and it was perfect. Great location, especially for first time NYC visitors. two of us stayed in a small, single bed room, but it wasn't so small it felt chlostrophobic. Since most of your time is spent in the city anyways, you don't need anything big. Clean, friendly staff, overall great place to rest for busy days in the city. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
Well when the staff greeted me the front desk person. Thought I looked like I didn't belong there. Once I told her I was staying she was surprised and her attitude changed. She was rude at first. Rooms were nice and clean. Windows were dirty though. The bar was nice. But after ordering drinks. The bar tenders acted like no one was there. So that was off putting. Everything was fine except the staff
Horrible service the entire way through .. room service asked 4 times and said no all four times. We went out to eat for not even an hour and came back to our room "refreshed" when we had the sign on the door, that the lady made us put there. Was then promised a $25 from Priceline. Called Priceline and then they said there was no note about this matter and it would not be credited. Horrible experience and privacy breach and the cleaning lady threw away a few things that should have have been thrown away. Completely dissatisfied. Was also informed a manager would call to talk and resolve the problem and confirm I received the credit but that never happened. Then tried to call and there was no manager available .. how convenient. Please avoid. Also only have 2 elevators to service over 30 floors and you have to share it with the cleaning ladies.. very weird and annoying to have to wait.
I had a room at the Holiday in Express just around the corner but a coworker was checked in here. The room was bigger the beds softer but the bathroom was not as comfortable. Instead of a shower curtain they had a half slab of glass. And the door opened into the room instead of into rhe bathroom. It is also easy to miss.
Great tourist location.Just a few minutes away from Times Square. The room is very well kept and tidy. All around great experience.
Boutique hotel just mins from Times Square and subway station. Very easy to head north to central park or south to financial district/Staten Island ferry terminal. Great for business, pleasure and family. Staff is great!
A great place to stay in New York! The room seemed a bit small to me though I'll admit this is my first New York hotel so I can't say whether that's related to it being in New York or this hotel in particular. Location wise this hotel is perfect. It's very close to great food and the theatre district if that's what your are here to do. There is also awesome $1 pizza right outside the hotel (major perk for those quick meals!) Overall it was a very enjoyable stay with tidy rooms and friendly staff. I would recommend anyone who wants to visit new York to consider this hotel.
