The staff are wonderful -- friendly & attentive, knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. My room was attractive, comfortable, and most importantly, very clean. The Inn is within easy walking distance of a number of entertainment venues and a satisfying variety of eateries. The price was very reasonable and included a well-stocked continental breakfast bar. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be heading there again next time I'm in Atlanta.
Stayed here one night. First room they gave us the room door didn't work. They moved us to another one. Upon checking out we were charged for two rooms two parking tickets and two 25$ fees. I called to see maybe there was a mistake. NO one could help or refund anything. It was the worst. Manager didn't even call me back. I sent an email and no reply. I suggested to Find somewhere else in Atlanta to stay.
Atlanta downtown is pricey and so was this hotel. As all the hotels were expensive looking just at the stay, I was happy with my stay. The staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Parking was 15USD a night which was much cheaper than other hotels ( although at the price of the room it should have been included). Overall happy with stay.
I really liked this hotel. They had a nice parking garage for their guests and had a great breakfast. They have a little store at the front desk where you can buy food and drinks. They have a courtyard to hangout in as well. It was very safe and in a great location. We walked to centennial olympic park for three days straight from the hotel. Friendly staff, coffee in the room, AND CLEAN!
This was a very nice place to stay. The lobby area is beautiful. The staff is very attentive and nice. You can walk to the Aquarium, Coca-Cola museum, and the Fox Theater(about a 20 minutes walk). However, our shower did not drain. So we were standing in our nasty water and also getting water all over the bathroom floor. The doors to the lobby had a sign that said “these doors close at 11pm and you will only be able to enter with a key”. That made me feel safe until I got to the lobby at 12am and the doors opened automatically without the key. The doors were broken and that meant that anyone could come in and out without a key. I did not like that at all. Breakfast ended at 9:30 am. So we didn’t get to try that out. You have to pay to park after you have already purchased a room. They do supply you with ear plugs because it gets a little noisy outside. Which was great but at about 7:30 am you hear the cleaning people screaming at each other down the way. Other than that, we had a great experiance and if we do come back we will most likely be staying here. The staff at the front desk is one of the reasons we will stay. Very very sweet people.
Very pleasant experience! Trey at the front desk was very helpful with check-in, parking, and giving us directions to local attractions. The room was very cozy, and the beds were so comfortable! The hotel is in a great location-just a few minutes walk to several restaurants & the Fox Theatre. There was a bit of traffic noise during the day. We noticed ear plugs were provided, which was very thoughtful, but we ended up not needing them. The breakfast was great as well! Sausage, bacon & eggs, bagels, waffles, pancakes-you name it! All hot & delicious! The only negative I would say is the towels were quite scratchy, but not a big deal. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in town.
The downstairs area is nice, and the hotel room wasn't bad. Service at the front desk was good. I really wish they had 'do not disturb' hangers for the doors - room service came by and I asked them to skip me, but a couple hours later they knocked again. I was out of the shower and couldn't answer, so they rang the phone and asked. The first day room service took the change I'd taken out of my pockets and left on a desk with some other junk. Maybe they thought I intended to tip them 62 cents? They took the soap and shampoo that I'd used once. There's a fridge in the room but I wouldn't say it is cold; I worried about the milk I kept in it overnight. The water out of the sink is moldy and pretty gross tasting. I brushed my teeth with the shower water instead. I appreciated the continental breakfast, which had a good variety of stuff.
The location was great, though parking was a tad confusing. They offer underground parking but there is no signage helping you locate it. The underground parking is VERY hot! Once in the room we were very cozy. Walked to Centennial Park, dinner, and we're within walking distance to several big attractions (GA Aquarium, World of Coke, etc) The rooms were nice and the patio area was also lovely. Our bed was clean and very comfy. All in all the is the best value in Downtown if you just want a clean place to rest your head.
Love it. Large, working TV. Right downtown so you can walk just about anywhere yet it's still surprisingly quiet in the area. City parking around the corner. $6 for the night. Staff is fantastic. They even provide mints for that morning breath. It's also a BUDGET hotel so it's affordable for most.
Super friendly staff. Parking underground on site. Breakfast buffet has everything and is delicious. Comfortable rooms and location is close to so many attractions you can walk.
Loved the location and the courtyard. Facilities a bit dated but I'd stay again. Staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast OK.
The hotel actually has no idea who is in their hotel and when or if they checked out. Our employee felt unsafe there because of fighting that was happening in the next room. She asked me to rebook somewhere else, which I did, and she complained at the desk and checked out. I placed her at the Hyatt House instead, which she said was wonderful! I talked with Expedia (first mistake) who said they cannot refund the money because they were told the employee stayed at their hotel (she did not). So I called the hotel myself and spoke with Jeremy, the manager. He stated that they don't refund 3rd party reservations and that they have no idea when third party guests leave their hotel. As the matter of fact, their housekeeping staff cleans the room each day as if the guest was actually staying there. I, too, feel that is not very safe and a HUGE waste of money, but no matter, they just made nearly $500 to cover it because they won't refund - for any reason.
The best value in Downtown ATL. Will be staying again. Clean breakfast was good, room was basic but that's what I was looking for. Come and go parking entire stay private lot lower level of the hotel for $15.
Hotel was dirty. Was not told where the room was so had to wander around looking. We finally found it by going down a dark hallway in the courtyard that had no signs. Room has some kind of bullet sized hole in the ceiling and water damage spots. Sheets had dirt under them, peeled them back to see hair and dirt on the mattress cover. One trashcan in the whole room. Would have liked one in the bathroom to throw away bathroom trash. TV remote did not work, but staff member came and changed it to another and programmed the new one. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was decent. Hot foods of eggs, sausage, potatoes (though potatoes had hair in them) and grits. Waffle and pancake maker with multiple syrups and toppings. Drinks of milk, apple and orange juices; and coffee. Cereal, toast, bagels, fresh fruit; stale muffins, cinnamon rolls. Would not stay here or recommend it. Parking lot is underneath building and is very tight fit.
