Great friendly staff. Nice secure upscale place. Parking garage, hallways, and lobby areas are clean. Great view of Downtown Atlanta. Nice spacious residential rooms from 1-3 bedrooms with various layouts. I would recommend the stay if you are looking to move to Downtown Atlanta.

My first visiting Atlanta and the W Atlanta made it one to remember! When first arriving the vallet service was very welcoming! He was a big help with getting all our luggage set up in our room. We stayed in the cool corner room which I definitely recommend. The floor to ceiling glass windows were my favorite giving you the perfect city views! The beds were super comfy which made me never want to get out of bed:) Room service/whatever, whenever service were awesome! The lobby was beautiful! It had a very hip, unique vibe! Not your boring hotel attire for sure, I loved it!! I recommend coming to the W Atlanta and I hope to be back again myself!!! :)

A very trendy hotel that has a great modern vibe. Unfortunately what is lacking is something that is very important to making ones stay great. The bedding from the mattress to the pillows left something to be desired. The mattress was very uncomfortable and felt as if it had little to no support, the pillows were down-filled but had very little fill, therefore you were pretty much laying directly on the mattress in the matter of minutes. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Again the hotel is very nice and I would like to give it the 4 or 5 stars that it should receive but a good comfortable nights sleep trumps everything else.

Great Hotel surely recommend it .
The staff are friendly and attentive. The service is fast.
They provide complimentary water in the lobby and the room.
The room has great view of Atlanta City, and it has espresso coffee machine.
They have gym, spa, roof top pool, restaurants, and bar.
Fast room service and they gave me and my girlfriend a birthday gift !!! It was a bottle of champagne and box of chocolates!!

Pretty sure that, having stayed here for the past four days, the W stands for wow. That sums up my experience.

Firstly, the location is awesome. It's in downtown Atlanta and within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and the Center for Civil and Human Rights (you should definitely visit this if you're visiting Atlanta, by the way).

Secondly the hotel itself is great. My room was large, with an awesome shower and a very comfy bed I was tempted to steal the pillows they were so comfortable ;-)

Lastly the staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was as awesome as it could be. The bar staff, in particular, deserve praise for this but every single person I dealt with was so friendly and helpful.

I hope I get to stay at the W again some time.

the staff was awesome. they were extraordinarily accommodating when i needed to check in very early. they were also very helpful with tips on getting around the city. the room was modern and spacious and clean. it was a bit loud in the hallway for a short period, but nothing too terrible.

There was good and bad experiences at this hotel. I had a very interesting interaction with the house keeper girls. They made sure everybody new what room they were in and did so by talking loud, vulgar language around kids that could hear them, slamming there equipment around and slamming the door over the security latch. I mentioned this to the front desk and then called a manager. The next time they were on the hallright back at it. The location of the hotel is not very good. The cab drivers and the hotel staff didn't recommend us walking around anywhere outside of the hotel. There aren't many close restaurants and the traffic getting in and out of the hotel is pretty bad especially toward the weekend. All in all for that area it wasn't too bad. however i wouldn't stay downtown again (at any hotel). Midtown and Buckhead are much better.
Food- 5 stars (surprising very good)
restaurant staff - 3 stars (realllllly slow, charged for food not received)
Front Desk staff - 4 stars (some of the staff was great others not!)
Bar staff- 4 stars (Good job just need to pay attention to the customer)
House keeping - (foreign girls - 5 stars) (local hood girls - 0 stars)
Gym- 5 stars (spotless, brand new equipment and great views)
Spa attendant- 5 stars (very nice, polite and helpful)
    Location- 2 stars (see above)
Hotel appearance- 4 stars (very pretty glass work and design)

The bathroom lights up the whole room so when someone has to use it in the middle of the night it wakes up the whole room. Other than that the room was nice and I love the coffee machine. Fruit water in the lobby was a nice touch. Very modern design.

Great hotel with beautiful views of Atlanta. Food and service at the sundial was outstanding. The room was standard and didn't fit price that I was paying. The local occupancy tax and GA Hotel fee I felt like I was being nickel and dime with the room rate already high enough. Bring your check book when you stay

We stayed in a Fabulous King, and it was lovely! The peek-a-boo shower is tons of fun, the pool upstairs is incredible, albeit busy. The staff were super sweet and helpful. My husband and I got married Friday and stayed here for the weekend; the super awesome server gave us chocolate covered strawberries as a surprise, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Thanks W Downtown staff for being accommodating and friendly!

I had a great time at the hotel! I know you're wondering "Well why did you put only 3 stars" but the reason why is because I had $90 stolen from my car during my stay. The W has a $38 fee for valet parking which is the only parking I was told they had (unless of course I would want to park somewhere around the hotel.) I decided to go with the valet parking because it was a special occasion that weekend and I wanted to feel special in this very special hotel. I last saw my money when I first got there and since I did not pay for ANYTHING (except the valet parking of course) that whole weekend I didn't bother to look inside of the drawer in my car where I keep money for 2 weekends of food and 2 weeks of gas . In this case I didn't realize my money was gone until after I checked out. I talked to the place that runs the valet parking and they said they would find out who did it but they cant give me my money back. I am very disappointed that The W does not have a better valet service parking their guest's cars. I am also disappointed that I put all my money that I saved for a while (considering im a college student) into a hotel and in return got the only money I had left to get through the next 2 weeks stolen.

My daughter and I just returned from yet another magnificent stay at our favorite hotel! As I've mentioned before, we've been staying at the W Atlanta Downtown since it opened several years ago. It always amazes me how the level of care never diminishes from visit to visit. Lorenz is truly a customer service genius! Whatever we ask for, he.

My wife and I came to the W to celebrate our birthday's. We were checked in by Ashley, who was so accommodating and delightful. We asked about possible restaurants to have dinner and she was so pleasant and full of information. She arranged for the hotel car to drive us to the restaurant, which was incredible. The room we got was just beautiful. At every turn there was someone there to make sure we were having the most positive experience. It is evident the staff has excellent training in customer care. We will definitely be back! Thanks Ashley!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around

Me and my boyfriend got to enjoy the studio suite room 920 and our view was amazing! The only thing that was a inconvenience is when we needed to call anything such as room service or the front desk we didn't get anyone. Most of the time we just ended up having to go downstairs to request the assistance we needed ourselves. My suggestion to the owners would be to make sure someone is answering customer service issues at all times and if you happen to be busy, find a way to resolve that.

This southern most W is the most reserved looking of the three in town, but it still has that sexy vibe the brand is known for. As with most W's non-valet parking is scarce. Inside you get dark woods, metallic surfaces and several kinetic art installations. But the crowning gem that sets this location apart is the sky pool that boast an impressive view of the cityscape.
