We went to this hotel because we were going to and concert and we stayed there for 2 nights and they had great people working and the rooms were nice. The beds where clean and comfortable. I was a great place to stay.
Enjoyed our stay. The Atlanta Marriott Hotel is a great contemporary hotel with a great location. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful from check in, to the shuttle driver, to breakfast, to the concierge, to room service and check out. I will definitely return and stay at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter again!
Wow Marriott's quality is going down. Well this location. No microwave in room. Less amenities. Just didn't have that Quality you expect from a Marriott. Even the Hallways' lost its shine. Definitely not the location to go for Luxury
The staff is great at Hotel except for Audrey she has the worst customer service she does not honor the Member Rewards program. Her entire demeanor is a turn off and makes you forget in the moment how great everyone else is in providing excellent customer service. I am a frequent guest and try to avoid interacting with her! She needs more training!
First, when we walked in the door, the single attendant at the desk on a Friday night (during prime check in time) was on the phone with another customer for 15 minutes without acknowledging us. Then during check in, her colleague finally appeared. We were told the pool and spa were open and the attendant forgot to mention that the indoor pool was closed. We found out from a maintenance worker that it was closed and why. The room was very clean and the housekeeper very good. When we first checked out the hot tub the water was several inches below the jets and the jets were going with water spraying everywhere. Later, the hot tub was fine. Another thing to mention is that the microwaves are per floor. Overall, a lukewarm visit.
The front of the hotel was very clean and the entrance was inviting. I do believe there could be more signs to point guests in the right devotions. I found the front desk okay as I was visiting a guest. I used the elevators to go to the 6th floor and had no problems finding my destination up there. The hallway was tidy and had no unpleasant smells. When I got to the room, it had two beds and a roomy shower. Nice sized closet with a big window for lots of natural light during the day. I also went to the pool. The indoor pool was closed, good thing this hotel has two, the outdoor pool was available. It did look a bit neglected that day but not so neglected that I wouldn't use it. Some workers started fixing a table while I was there but they weren't bothering me. I stayed for an hour then went to the front desk to ask a question. The gentleman listened and answered very politely and I was quickly on my way back to the guest's room. I relaxed for a few hours on the bed. Super comfy and fluffy. Not too soft or hard. Overall, my few hours visit was nice and calming. Would recommend this hotel for people who want to relax after a busy day in the city. Only thing I would change is adding pizza to the menu. Even a smell personal pizza would do.
I've stayed at this Marriott on a couple of occasions, both times during a multiday stay. Overall, I'd say this is a pretty nice hotel. It's not the nicest Marriott I've stayed in; however, it's also not the worst.
The hotel has a great indoor/outdoor pool and nice workout area. The bar area serves Starbucks coffee all day --which is always a plus, and has an onsite restaurant. The location of the site is very nice. It's in walking distance of a MARTA (Atlanta's metro system) station, and walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. It's also located very close to the freeway which is always nice.
The rooms at this hotel aren't too bad. They look a little dated, but again, not the worse I've seen. Oh, and to Eric's point, all hotel carpets are ugly :)
The staff that work at this Marriott are extremely polite. I've deal with the restaurant, concierge, maintenance, and front desk and every time I've interacted with them, they make you feel welcome and not like you're being a pain in the
I'm certainly going to stay here again and would recommend if you need to be on the north side of the city.
A very lovely looking, contemporary place. Many amenities and very well kept, clean looking. I would love to give it more stars. However, the hallways outside our room (which is on the Elite floor) are extremely warm, humid and stuffy. Additionally, our room had a musty/moldy smell which i am extremely sensitive to. There were only 2 of everything in the bathroom. 2 washcloths, hand towels, and bath towels. I don't recall seeing a blow-dryer either. Otherwise i would give it 4 or 5 stars.
The staff at Atlanta Marriott is second to none. Genuinely friendly, responsive to requests (even unusual ones asked of the engineering Dept). The breakfast is stellar. The rooms delightful and decor splendid. The patronage is so high we could hardly find luggage carts! Awesome shuttle service. One of the best in fact the best hotel experience I've had throughout the US!
Overall the hotel was nice. I would have rated it higher but the bathroom door was not in very good shape on bathroom side. The other issue was the charge for parking, I find the practice of charging for parking at hotels to be like being held hostage. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the servers to very friendly.
This hotel is infested with bed bugs. The staff is aware!!! It really needs to be treated.
The doors are so loud everytime someone leaves their room you will know. The walls are so paper thin I was hearing the person in the next room sneeze and cough all night all! This is by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
The elevators were extremely slow during my stay. One was out of order. With about 16 floors all elevators need to be in working order. I was waiting at least 6-8 minutes on the elevator.
I attended this hotel for a work event meeting was held in attached to the hotel. We had some issues with the temperature and we also were able to hear the MARTA train every time it passed by. Location was convenient to all major highways. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The center is clean and well suited for conferences and conventions. The restaurant/ bar has reasonable prices and the staff is friendly. I wish there were bigger suite rooms, but overall it's a good hotel.
Very crowded with high school age kids in bus groups. Rooms "OK". Jerry the Shuttle Driver was AWESOME. Polite, helpful, and prompt.
