We had room 1133. It was clean and comfortable. Good value. Great breakfast from the waffle house. Only downside was an encounter with an individual outside the hotel that was threatening. Friendly staff.

Great location! Walking distance to Centennial Park, Coke Museum, Georgia Aquarium, Skyview Atlanta, and Hard Rock Cafe. The construction WILL affect your stay here though. As of August 2016 there is no front door (you must walk through scaffolding to a side entrance), no lobby, and no air conditioning in the front desk area. Our window overlooked loud construction equipment, there is no longer a restaurant, and the pool was closed despite being in the middle of summer. I wouldn't go back until the transition from Holiday Inn to Marriott is complete in January 2017.

Stay at a different hotel. I stayed here for memorial day weekend, and they just started to undergo a transition period. All of the amenities, including the restaurant and bar, are closed. This took effect the day we checked in, and were not offered any sort of compensation. I booked back in March when all amenities were still open. This hotel is no longer a part of IHG Rewards Club, so you will not receive any rewards points or credit for your stay.

The rooms do not have queen size beds, they are smaller full size beds. But the website will advertise queen size. No friendly customer service, and I had to pay $20 a day for "valet" parking. There was nothing valet about it. My truck sat right out front so I was handed the key and walked to my own vehicle.

I strongly suggest looking for another hotel in this area until their transition is completed.

Phil at the front desk was awesome! The hotel we reserved wouldn't let us check in because their main office closed at night so we found this place and they accommodated us right away!. It was well worth it. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was pretty good (even though the servers were a little rude)! Although you had to pay for parking daily, the valet was pretty cool! Super convenient to the city, we walked everywhere! All in all, we'll be coming back here next time we're in town!
