The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds/gardens surrounding the hotel were beautiful. I wish it were a little closer to the beach but most places were within walking distance.

Looking for a quiet tranquil and adult only property then this is the choice.beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms and excellent stafflocation cannot be beatif you don't have to be directly on the ocean then The Gardens Hotel is for you

it was a charming stay in KW local to most everything within walking distance. the rooms, service and more is worth the stay and the expense. most of thing good adventures within KW is within walking distance however parking is $25 p/day.

Beautiful room, grounds, and pool. Great staff. David was super welcoming, and a great host. We enjoyed our stay very much, and will certainly be back. The Gardens is a beautiful, quaint, old school hotel. She rooms have gorgeous hardwood floors, cozy furnishings, and cheerful decor. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and ensure we were having a wonderful time. I have absolutely nothing negative to say to say about this property.

Wow! This is the place to stay in Key West! Everything is no more than 20 minutes away walk. The Hotel should be rated higher than 5 stars. It's so lush with landscaping, ponds, Turtles, pool side bar the pictures don't do it justice! I love this Hotel the owners and staff are 10 stars as far as helping. What a great romantic Hotel. Awesome Awesome Great Hotel!

Best place I've stayed in Key West! Like a home away from home, doesn't even seem like a hotel. Very accommodating staff and a great breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

My family and I have been coming for the last 12 years. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. Location to the square and beach are perfect . Housekeeping and office staff are fabulous Units cleaned nicely everyday. All staff are friendly and helpful. Pools are perfect Love the lounging tables and weber grills. Can't wait to come back.

“Perfect garden oasis”
My husband and I left single digit weather in Ohio to celebrate our anniversary at The Gardens Hotel. We were not disappointed with either the weather or this fabulous hotel! We spent 4 nights in the Carriage Room 4A, located directly over the cabana bar. Beautiful room with a beautiful view of the pool, gazebo and the lush grounds. We felt like we had the property to ourselves. The balcony was a perfect spot to listen to the jazz quartet that performs most Sundays. The owner and the staff were incredibly attentive and accomodating. (Special shoutout to bartender Ed for his advice, recommendations and friendship.) Great location within walking distance of just about anything you would want to go do. Leave your car at home as previously mentioned in other reviews, parking is a pain and expensive everywhere in Key West. I could go on but won't perfect garden oasis.response / report this review -

My husband and I arrived at The Gardens Hotel for a three night stay and immediately felt relaxed and in vacation mode. Of course, the glass of prosecco which was offered upon our arrival might have had something to do with this quick adjustment from city life. We were shown to our lovely room #15 which was spacious and had.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around
“Lovely grounds, quiet and very comfortable room, thoughtful service”
A lovely place to stay near to the heart of downtown and the harbor. Yet, the large gardens and comfortable room made for a quiet and restful stay. The "Continental" breakfast was substantial. The staff and owner, Kate, were welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. Even the resident large turtles were social! In-depth research of alternatives suggested that the hotel was reasonably priced as well.
My wife and I found the Gardens far more warm, inviting and relaxing than the large, institutional hotels with a bit more privacy than a B&B. We had a delightful experience.
Room Tip: Our king bed suite on the second floor offered privacy, quiet, great ventilation with windows open
