When on America's #1 Mainstreet in downtown Deland, be sure to stop in at the Abbey for a fine selection of craft beers, wine and handmade Meads. The owner's name is Steve, and along with the engaging staff, they will make sure you get whatever type of drink suits your taste. There are various table and board games to play, along with tvs for sports, and live music on the weekends. Be sure to stop in, it'll be well worth it.

Great beer guest beers on tap and a long list of house brewed meads that were all good as well. The service was excellent and there was live entertainment. Very enjoyable place!

If you want to try craft beers, this is the place to go. The staff was intimately knowledgeable and helpful. We went with wine, but could overhear the staff discussing options and were impressed. The environment was peaceful and warm. This was during winter break, so I imagine a weekend when the college students are in town would be much busier. We had an appetizer plate with pita, humus, olives, cheeses and dates. All delicious! Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years! The owner and staff are amazing! They will chat with you, and make you feel like family. Live music on the weekends. Staff is very knowledgeable on the beers, meads, and wines. Great pub food as well. They are the original stuff! Other businesses copy them because they know what the customers love :) Pet friendly as well.
