We had our Christmas luncheon here. Everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was marvelous. Would highly recommend the Edison Room for a large group or just a dinner for two.

We for Sunday brunch as a non hotel guest as that is where my grandfather wanted to go for his birthday. When my grandfather and I walked up to ask for a table for they said that was impossible with out a reservation. He called the day before to make a reservation and they said it wasn't needed. They told us to wait in the lobby and they would get us a table. It took them all of five minutes to seat us. Them meal, price, and service were a disappointment. It is a Continental breakfast for $20 a person. Don't waste your time or money.

Had lunch in Edison Restaurant. The waitress forgot to bring wine and was slow. The restaurant was not crowded at all. All 3 of us agreed the food was bland. I had meatloaf, others had turkey and dressing. Spoke with chef and he was apologetic and listened politely. New York cheesecake was delicious! For the caliber of the Dearborn Inn, and considering how many times the 3 of us have eaten here in the past, we were disappointed. We appreciated how professional the chef handled the issue so we will return. It was Christmastime and the decor was beautiful!!

I attended a charity event which included lunch. The event was set up beautifully and the staff was attentive and polite. The food was tasty but cold. I attend Thai event every year and though it was better than last year, it wasn't as good as the year before. But the price has stayed the same for years so maybe that accounts for the cutbacks.

Love how they mixed old with new in the decor keeping allot of ideas from the 40s and 50s. The grounds are beautifully kept. All the flowers and shrubbery are well maintained. This hotel even has cottages you can stay in that are inspired by historically famous people such as Edgar Allen Poe.

Stayed at the Dearborn Inn for a wedding and was not disappointed! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly, and the buildings and rooms were in great shape. The biggest concern was the poor performance of the air conditioners in the room. Otherwise, great property and a real hidden gem!

Visited this hotel for the first time for an event. The parking lot was big, grounds were kept up and hand nice flowers around. The staff were helpful in finding the area I needed to get to. Food and desserts were good. Clean rest rooms, drinks good and hotel decor was very nice.

Very nice and welcoming. I was here to attend my cousin's wedding, and to stay overnight after the celebration as well. Rooms were immaculate and the view outside was amazing as well. It really does have an intimate feel with the experience. Also a full bar in the main building with a dining area as well. Staff was very friendly and even laughed at my dumb jokes. ONLY negative I could find was that the elevators seemed quite old and not as clean as they could be, but that's reaching. Would definitely recommend.

I came for a family wedding. The staff were very helpful, the hotel covered a lot of items that we needed last minute, and the old buildings were well maintained and beautiful. They even had different types of phone chargers in the lobby and things like complementary umbrellas. Only complaint is that the air-conditioning was ridiculously cold, but other than that, it was a great stay. Again, really loving that lobby.

We attended a wedding reception here. The food was very good, the wait staff was friendly and helpful, and the decor was quite nice. We didn't stay overnight,so can't speak to that. As guests at the wedding, we have no idea what the cost was but I can't think of anything the couple would have been upset about paying for as food and service all seemed to be of good quality.

Very nice ballroom for a wedding reception. Ample room for guests to sit and a perfectly sized dance floor. The only drawback was that if you needed to go outside (back to your car or to get fresh air), you had a long walk back in through the lobby without a guest room key.

A lovely Grand old hotel in need of some. Modern updates. Comfortable quiet spacious and great location. Food is even good. The traditional furniture and decor is great and a nice change from Marriott silver. Minimalism. The rooms could beassively improved with a power strip on each side of the bed. Great water pressure!

This historical hotel is just gorgeous. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even provided a shuttle for my husband to go to The Henry Ford to pick up our car. Very clean room with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at the Dearborn Inn several times when on business in Dearborn. This historic building has been beautifully restored and adapted to provide all the modern hotel conveniences but with a fascinating charm that exudes the old-time era from when it was built. All hallways are lined with large photos from old-time Henry Ford businesses and are accompanied with historical explanations. As a history-hobbyist, I have found these stories to be as enchanting and fascinating as they are varied as my room assignments have change between visits. If you enjoy them, I recommend touring the different floors and halls for even more enjoyment. Staying at the Dearborn Inn is a really fun and quality experience.
