Great environment. Live music, great bar and good food. Kids playground and pet area. Always feel happy being there. Oh and sweet potatoes fries are awesome with their special sauce.

This place is just amazingly perfect for eating out. They have powerful fans right when you walk inside to place your order, keeping us cool in Texas. The food tastes just amazing, and it's organic and they participate in the no GMO project. Healthy and clean food is always the best. All the food comes from right here in Texas, they have a fabulous map that shows you where everything is coming from. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The outside area is beautiful, they have a garden with some of the vegetables they use, and a big play place for the kids to play in. It's a great family atmosphere and a great place to go eat healthy.

What a fantastic place! First of all: incredibly good food Delicious Burgers, Excellent Fish Tacos, etc. with indoor and outdoor seating and a fantastic playground for the kids; indoors they have a stage where they bill some of the best musicians and bands in town (I mean EXTREMELY good music!). I can't wait to go back. It's very popular, hip, trendy, progressive, classic, healthy, and delicious all at the same time!!!

Wow! What a nice surprise! We both had the vegan bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun, and it was by far the most flavourful and delicious vegan burger I've had! You must try it. The place has a non pretentious atmosphere, you order at the counter and have a seat outside or at the bar inside. Lots of space, and I was told they have live bands playing at specific times.

Love coming here with my kids and family. I've been here numerous times and it never fails me to be unhappy. The playground was an awesome upgrade when I came last Saturday for a family hang out to watch The Spurs Game. Kudos for that! My kid's loved the new playground. The food is great and drinks as well. If you want to come to a kid friendly place to hang out, The Cove is the place to go. Oh and did I mention it's pet friendly too? Well come over and bring your pet's, they too have a little play area. 😊

Vegan bacon cheeseburger was delicious. The cashew cheese was a little messy but that didn't bother me. It's vegan! The spicy mustard gave it a good kick. The fries were crunchy and flavorful with good size portions! Not a long wait. But the parking is always a headache.

Great music, every time I go I really enjoy the live music, there are two bars with different beer options so I'm always able to find something new to try and love. The first time I went this very sweet elderly woman convinced every other female in the place to dance with her to some funk music and last time I went the lady sitting across from me told me I was pretty so A++++++ atmosphere.

Great food and family atmosphere. The Texas bar in the back is a nicely curated selection of beers from local Texas breweries. Prices are average and the service is very good. Pet friendly and kid friendly. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Party Room is available for rent.

I am never disappointed when I go to The Cove!! The food is great and organic. The atmosphere is energetic and laid back at the same time. They have live music, open mic night. It is a great introduction to San Antonio for visitors. Oh yeah, it is pet friendly!

When my girlfriend and I pulled up to it, I was so confused with the outside layout but once inside, it's a great set up! The burgers were incredible and tasted very fresh! The food came out faster than either of us expected. There are so many beers on tap so there is definitely something for everyone! Great atmosphere.

I am currently visiting from out of town, and have been googling places to eat at all day. I came across The Cove and saw the organic food choices, and said to myself let's try this place out. And boy, I am glad I did.
Reasons to love this restaurant:
-Picnic tables
-Outdoor eating
-The most amazing organic burgers & fries I have ever had
-Kids playground
-Outdoor bar
-Live music (jazz playing tonight)
The list goes on. But baby, I love this place and can't wait to come back. I'll definitely recommend this place to others.response / report this review -

They have gluten free food options. I loved the gluten-free dairy-free "VINKIES". It is a bit crowded and loud, but not surprisingly so. There is a lot of outdoor seating where parents can observe their kids playing on the playground in the center. They also have live music. Great place to meet up with friends, especially those with children.

The food was amazing. At our table we had the Ruben Hash, The Texas, hummus, and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was flavorful and hit the spot. Most of the seating is outside along with a kids play area and bar. It's dog friendly as well. It has a relaxed neighborhood feel and I recommend it for anyone in the area.

We came here on a family vacation & I'm glad we did. The photo & atmosphere were amazing! The soul of Texas was truly captured in this one restaurant. Great food & people! Looking forward to coming here again

Love this place. Food is kind of pricy, but so worth the price. Food is great, playground in middle and also a "dog park" inside. Also one of the clean up staff that is always there is super nice and friendly! He is just the best. One thing I do dislike is if you sit outside it is a long walk inside to refill your glass.
