Being so close to the holidays and 3 different universities having their graduation on the same day, Rosario’s was the only restaurant in town that could accommodate our party. They were so nice and helpful. Even though they didn’t officially take a reservation we did a call ahead. The waitress that served us was on top of it. Our drinks were always filled and the food came fast even though they were extremely busy. The food was good and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely go back
Good mexican food and great guacamole.
Excellent service.
We had a great experience! Service was top notch! It was almost like people fussing over us! 3 different servers checked on our table. The food came out very fast and was great! The server was a high class member as more than expected! I really enjoyed it!! Thank you for a great dinner, I really recommend this place for a great experience with your love ones.
Stopped by here on our trip to San Antonio. We had a 5min wait, which wasn't bad. The prices were average and our food tasted fantastic. There was some confusion in the beginning with the servers. One server came and introduced himself and took our orders but then did not come to us afterwards. After some time another server came and started taking care of us. Overall it was a good visit.
Great locally owned and operated. This South Town restaurant is a favorite with locals and tourists alike. Great fresh dishes and good drinks get the house margaritas the top shelf can get expensive. I love the chicken tacos with the fresh clentro, cabbage, jalapeno slaw. I used to go all the time for that it's can get crowded at peak times. But we'll worth the wait.
Hot sauce you can tell is authentic and made from scratch.. the chips seemed fresh as well.
I did not like the tilapia or the shrimp taco. Both tasted raw, unclean, and not fresh. Both tacos had an over kill of mayonnaise and slaw, probably to cover up the rank fish taste.
The bread pudding dessert and margarita were the best part!
The location is down town so you park and walk, but it's not bad. The setting inside is comfortable and the service wasn't bad.
Just don't order any seafood!
It's a great environment and the food comes out fast. The waiters are super courteous and check on you regularly despite the enormous size of the restaurant. Food portions were also wholesome and the experience is definitely worth the price.
I love this place! Not your same old Tex-mex place! Great items to choose from. traditional fajitas to shrimp nachos to enchiladas with mushroom spinach and chicken in a cream sauce!! You are bound to find something you like not to mention the frozen drinks are plentiful and tasty!
I thought the food was seriously fantastic. It had a very subtle, yet distinct taste which differentiates it from other Mexican restaurants. With that being said, the service was horrible. Like, really really bad. There was a 45 minute wait to get seated and once we were seated, it was apparent why. The wait staff took their time stopping by the tables, our water wasn't dropped off until after our food arrived, and needless to say it was never refilled. The bartenders were somehow even slower. Though the food was really great, if avoid showing up at peak times because the poor service really does take away from the enjoyment of this restaurant.
Outstanding. The salsa on the table is quite possibly the best I've ever experienced; smoky, salty, incredible. It's easy to understand why Rosarios is a local favorite. The service was excellent, and the food was top notch.
I ordered a plate of three crispy beef tacos, and they did not disappoint. My wife had the tortilla soup; it was a fantastic soup, and we will order this soup every time we visit from here on out. We were blown away.
The flan was dense, creamy perfection. Thank you.
We will eat here whenever we're in San Antonio.
I enjoyed our dinner here. Building converted from an old store ( I think ). Service is decent. Food is pretty good. Place was full (not crowded still a good sign). I will definitely be back.
We parked in front and our 2017 truck was broken into and we were robbed of valuables and firearms that were hidden out of site. Of course the cameras do not work according to the manager. We walked around back and the parking lot was plastered with signs about locking your car and hiding your stuff. And the manager said they only had 1 break in the last 6 months. yeah right. The food was fine but a good dining room experience was ruined.
First time here and I was not disappointed. The roasted salsa is delicious as well as the Swirl Margaritas. The food was amazing, I highly recommend this place.
Don't be misled by the number of reviews and the ratings, if you like bad service then this is the place to go. Ordered fajitas and soup, did not get all the fajita sides or a plate to eat in. Asked twice for table chips and never got them and the waiter never apologized for it, instead said I didn't ask for it even though the other tables got their chips as soon as they ordered their food. Interestingly, we ran into another couple who had also been there at the same time as us had the same experience so, I guess the place has that kind of service standard. Better places with much better service near the River Walk.
Delicious food, especially the flour tortillas. The mole enchiladas I had were very tasty, not at all bitter like some places make them. My wife had the fish tacos that were overflowing with Delicious toppings. Staff was attentive and friendly. Only slight drawback was the somewhat cafeteria-like decor and atmosphere.
The Fajitas and grilled shrimp was delicious! My sister had the enchiladas and said they were very good too. I think the staff needs to communicate a little bit better with each other, but overall we received awesome service and even better food.
