I stayed for a week and it was a great experience. The staff was a professional and made me feel like they were happy to have me. The rooms are nice and cleaned everyday. I would definitely stay again
Our experience at The Cincinnatian was severely lacking. Despite the construction, the service was nowhere near up to par. Our first room we were in was not the room type we had paid for and there were multiple things broken and wrong with it; when they came to fix things nothing was actually fixed so we were moved to another room. This room, which was still not the room type we had paid for, was right next to the street and restaurant and we were kept up all night by noises outside and a drunk wedding party that insisted on screaming unyil 2 in the morning. We eventually were put in the correct room but for the quality of the rooms it is severely overpriced. The beds are uncomfortable and there are no refrigerators or coffee makers in the rooms. Don't waste your money here.
Clean. Quiet. Nice, unique rooms. Helpful staff. Business clientele. Restaurant serves three meals and happy hour. No complaints which is rare for a hotel!
My fiance and I spent the night at The Cincinnatian Hotel for a concert. When we got back, he proposed. The staff was very helpful by setting up rose petals in the room along with champagne. We are very grateful for their wonderful hospitality!
The hotel was very nice and clean. The employees were very helpful. It was within walking distance to the Arnoff Center where I attended a show. I would definitely stay there again.
Love the historic style, all the interior decor in the common areas was awesome. The furniture in the room was pretty cool, too, just not *as* cool. Big jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and his and hers sinks. Bed was comfy, though not my favorite pillows ever. Room was very dark which was nice, though it was because there was only one tiny window. There was a fake fireplace in the room which was kind of odd but a nice touch.
We came to The Cincinnatian for an overnight stay and they exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and the room was spectacular. Clean, modern, and comfortable are the words to describe it. It is close in relation to everything downtown. I will definitely return!
We loved our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, it was very strange that the room did not have carpet, or a couch to sit on. There were two chairs however. Also liked the big Roman tub to soak in! The location was also perfect to walk around and enjoy downtown.
The Cincinnatian Hotel is a great place to stay when looking for lodging in downtown Cincinnati. It's a block and a half away from Fountain Square, where there always seems to be something fun going on - live music, dancing, happy hours. It's also walking distance to the riverfront and Great American Ballpark. A+ location. The king bed room was clean and spacious - a good place to relax. The bathroom is nicely situated with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The TV is medium sized. Views from the rooms aren't anything to write home about, but the common areas of the hotel are both elegant and comfortable. As usual when staying downtown, it pays to be careful about where you park. The hotel offers a valet service, but it may be cheaper (though still not cheap) to park at the lot underneath Fountain Square, if you don't mind walking a bit more than a block with your luggage. All staff members, from the front desk to housekeeping, were very polite and helpful. All in all - recommended!
Close to many great restaurants and entertainment venues. The hotel is historic and has a classic charm. Though it could be cleaner than it is. All the staff has been friendly. It appears that not many other guests are staying here but it might not be a busy time.
The Cincinnatian has become an anniversary tradition for me and my husband. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very kind and the rooms are amazing and homey. They also have so many services and amenities that you'd be hard pressed to find yourself wanting for anything. I would absolutely recommend staying for a night to anyone who wants to have a wonderful experience instead of just a room.
The hotel itself was wonderful. Our room was gorgeous. We were in town for the Reds/Cubs series. We went to the bar area after the game and the service was top notch. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location right in city center. Large room decorated in a high class fashion. One of the best bathrooms I've ever had in a hotel which included a large soaking tub. The front desk was very nice and helpful, too. Only drawback was the narrow window in the room but I think that is because it is an old structure.
They have changed some things (and ownership) since our last visit. While we completely understand that they need to economize, some things just didn't feel like we were getting the same experience as before. Maybe this will change for the better once their renovations are complete. I am looking forward to visiting and reviewing this timeless, wonderful and historic hotel and restaurant again.
