Pretty nice park. Idk if I'd recommend the showers unless you are a seasoned camper. Rv spots were nice. We went in mid nov and had a whole section to ourselves. Huge playground for kids.

Camp here every year, a couple times each year. It has improved greatly from what it once was. That being said, I would camp here more often if the campground beach was ever open. It's a 20 minute drive to get to the other side of lake to the public beach.

The backpack trail is OK. The perimeter trail is in horrible condition for several miles due to perpetually soaked ground and horse use. The lake, well, check for warnings before getting into it. There is an embarrassing amount of trash around the lake shore. I personally cleaned up 13 full size garbage bags, the large black ones, this year, 2017. The 'takes the cake' award goes to the person who left a dirty diaper laying on a log two feet from the lake. I also found condoms and a hypodermic needle in one spot. I didn't even scratch the surface though. If people didn't trash the park it'd be great. As it stands it's pretty gross. Also the back country camp grounds 1,2,3 and 4 are all overused party spots with a ton of trash. Sad.

Great park to take children. East fork lake offers a swimming area, camp ground, multiple boat docks, great fishing and several places to stop, relax, cook out or take photos.

Great spot to bring the family. Water is nice and the dogs love it. Part of the beach isn't allowed to have dags, other part is okay.

The only negative that we had us that we were there for three days and the toilet and the sinks were not cleaned once. The floors were cleaned once the last day we were there. This is a important fact that will keep us from going back there probably. The campsites were wonderful shaded and clean.

East Fork Camp Ground is one of the nicest state parks in our area. Their campsites are spacious, they offer full hook-up sites, as well as electric only. They have updated bath houses and restrooms. They have over 400 campsites so the park is really large and offers a lot of space to roam. They have a sub-par putt-putt course, and a small camp store. They have equestrian trails and a few hiking trails. The lake isn't as nice as it was in years past, but it still draws a crowd of boaters. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and will surely return.

Great park to take a boat too. Most size outboard boats welcome. Plus bass boats and pwc. Nice beach area. And swimming is usually welcome if the water conditions are good. Walking trails and a really nice camping area. Not A bad place to spend the day. Or the weekend..

Not a bad place for camping, make sure you check with park rangers on the safety of the water before you go swimming, sometimes the lake grows bad bacteria that can get you pretty sick.

Its a decent campground, though it has its problems at time. Littering and the occasional weirdo lurking around doing drugs or whatever. Obviously use your common sense when being there. But its a nice campground to go to sometimes.

Visited campground. Sites are close. Not enough toilets, showers for the amount of people in each loop.
    Playground nice for kids.
Camp store ladies very nice, store is small but lot is large.
No place for hammock camping on campsites but there is shade.

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting while in town! They had a blast playing in the water and then drying off on the trails

We went to East Fork lake to backpack for the night. The location close to Cincinnati is great for a quick getaway but we found the trails to be poorly marked and the provided map is be misleading and inaccurate. The shelters at the camps are nice for extra shelter especially with this weekend's forecast. We'd probably backpack here again because of how convenient the location is but on any weekend with a bet forecast or more time we'd go elsewhere.

Great Place for all kinds of activities - canoe, boat, Fish and hike. Make sure your water craft has up to date license. There is a beach and several boat docks.
