The hallways stunk like busted sewage pipes. Our first two rooms were not cleaned and smelled of smoke (non-smoking rooms). We were checked into two new rooms which were filthy. Cockroaches, mold on walls (shower wall was rotted OUT along drywall), and a busted sub-floor that was covered with carpet so there was a sink hole. The bed was comfortable and the Waffle House employees next door were awesome.
The rooms were clean and the bed was actually comfortable. that’s the only good thing I can say about this hotel. The rooms are very outdated. The girl at the front desk was very rude and acted like she had the worst job in the world. There’s NO ELEVATOR. The hallways smell like cigarette smoke even though there’s no smoking allowed. The stairwells smell moldy. The whole building smelled awful except for the rooms, they smelled fine luckily which is the only reason why I stayed. Overall I have no desire to come back to this hotel.
Rooms were nice and clean. Bathroom was clean but a little mold on the shower curtain. Pillows were terrible! Sheets were fine but the blanket was old and scatchy. Breakfast was mostly carbs, no eggs or meat, only fruit was red apples. It was fine for what we were there for, sleep and leave after a light breakfast. Staff was polite and kind.
Awful! Avoid! The Scuzziest Hotel Ever.
Hotel smells absolutely awful and is dilapidated. There were kissing bugs all over the halls (look them up--not good). Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke covered by way too much cleaning product. Sheets did not feel clean. Appliances were hooked up to two power strips, one plugged into the other. Had we not been tired, we would have left the first night. We abandoned two days of a three day reservation because we couldn't stand it, and we're not all that picky. Unsurprisingly, the hotel didn't give a refund. The health department should be called about this place.
No elevator. Room is adequate. Clean enough (not sparkling.). Closer to a $55 room than an $80 room. Location is great. Interior entry but very narrow hallway.
Hotel doesn't have an elevator! That was extremely frustrating. Room was OK at best. Fairly clean but way outdated. Air-conditioner worked well. Shower was clean but towels were too small. Comforters were thin like sheets and had some stains but we're clean. Carpet was thick and kinda sticky feeling. There was a weird smell in the hallway.
Hotel was fine if your in a pinch and need a place to stay for the night.
The room was NASTY!!! floors not vaccummed and shower was pink from filth not being cleaned properly. The mirror above the sink was all splashed toothpaste and whatever it was. Had to be moved to another room and it wasn't much better. Dust everywhere thick. I suggest if u have allergies to not stay here. I was very disappointed.
This was the worst, most disgusting, scariest hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at!!! The outside doors to go into the rooms didn't lock. When I spoke to the lady at the front desk about the doors, she told me that she was new and didn't know what to do about it. Really????? Our deadbolt on our door was broke off. The room smelled like urine and mold! I would NEVER stay here again!!!!!! It looks like a hotel where druggies and hookers hang out at. I only gave it a star, because I had to give it some form of a rating!!
Smells (carpet) at this day and time no other vacancy here in this town! No choice! Ask the front desk to bring me a coffee maker and she said come and get it! Does not have time! NO ELEVATORS! 4TH FLOOR! LUCKY I HAD 2ND
It's not that I dislike this place, you just have to make sure that it suites your needs. If you are looking for a hotel for the sole purpose of getting off the highway and getting a couple hours of sleep, it did its job. If you were wanting to take your wife here for a romantic weekend getaway, get those divorce papers ready my manthis isn't it so keep on searching.
We stayed here in March of 2017. Was treated well by all staff, and what we saw of the overall facility it was reasonably tidy for accommodations in this price tier. The only thing to note was that the bed springs made noises when compressed, but both mattresses were actually quite comfortable. I don’t know why many of the reviews are so negative? It was quiet for our weekday stay of two days, there were about forty or so cars in the parking areas, couple bigger trucks like car haulers. Wasn’t very crowded , eating area and breakfast food was adequate for continental style provisions Pretty uneventful, nothing unnerving, maybe we had an extra good room. Possibly due that it was across the hall from housekeeping? And, we were in a high traffic area. My wife said she’d stay there again, so that sums that up for a possible do again. For expectations of a budget minded traveler I give it a B+. Of my overall hotel experience I would give it 7 out of 10, and feel I got a little more than I paid for. We didn’t have to ask for anything or require any staff assistance. I recommend this facility, and I believe it was room 104 we resided in. Hope you found this helpful.
