Smallish rooms spotlessly clean. Great rates. Easy walk to restaraunts.
The Days Inn Chattanooga- Hamilton place is a diamond in the rough The customer service from the staff was excellent, especially the ladies at the front desk and the breakfast attendant The fresh waffles and mini omelets at breakfast were very goodThe rooms were clean and comfortable The shower water pressure was nice and strong Excellent value for the price
What can I say, excellent service. The rooms were humble, but comfortable. Breakfast was lacking, very limited options. Would definitely recommend at the price range.
This hotek is nothing like the photos. There was mold in the bathroom. Dirty mirrors. Stains on the seat in the room. The breakfast was lackluster. All breads were hard (old). Oatmeal had to be microwaved to be warm. And the OJ was water with a hint of orange juice. The only passable thing was the coffee and Apple Juice. The entire place looks rundown and not well managed. The staff made it seem like they were inconvenienced to be there.
We changed our hotel to this one because of the pictures and better reviews but regretted it. The pictures were nothing like the actual product. Especially the breakfast area and bathroom. Would not stay at this location again.
Room was comfortable and clean. The staff was great. I would add more options in the breakfast, but it was included in the stay so it was good. It’s location is about 9 minutes from the Chattanooga airport, which is very convenient.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Felt like I was looked down upon cause I smoke. Was told I had to sit at a picnic table and could only smoke there even though it was raining at the time. Then 1 of my coworkers was told he couldn't be outside of his room door with a open beer. This place isn't a 5 star Ritz Carlton or anything like that. It's a slum hotel. Had my office move us back to our original hotel. Much happier here. Would've rather slept in my work van than stayed there
Stop at the front desk was very nice. The room was modern and clean. Comfortable beds. Although the breakfast wasn't as good as some other hotels we've stayed at.
Pros: The rooms were nice and updated.
The bed was comfortable.
The A/C worked great.
Cons: The TV was horrible, very unresponsive and half of the Chanel's would cut in and out and lag. There wasn't enough towels in the room. The rooms are very loud, I was awoke at least 3 times overnight between 4am and 9am just from people opening and closing their doors. Housekeeping tried to barge in while we were brushing our teeth at 10am without knocking.
Overal, very expensive for such a low class hotel. I would not stay again.
Surprised at how cleanly the room was -- especially the bathroom. We thankfully got to stay in a room that was located inside the hotel, rather than the outside. Would stay again for a pit stop.
Nice hotel to stay , but door needs to be replaced and break fast should be improved little more
And we loved the pool..
Great price! It was easy to find from the interstate. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were dated, but clean. Overall, no complaints.
This particular Days Inn was quite underwhelming. After reading generally favorable reviews we decided to stay here. Our particular room was near the end farthest from the lobby area and our door looked as though there had been a recent forced entry event as the bottom of the door was bowed out a good inch from the jam. This may not have been a problem, except that our door was directly next to a very heavy (read secure) card entry door that lead to the stairwell for the upper floors (they do have a elevator though) this door was used all times of the night and my wife and I did not get to sleep until around 12 - 1am as the other guests were going in and out of this door and to talking in outdoor voices and keeping us up (which I understand that the hotel cannot manage that particular thing) but due to the door being bent out at the bottom and the door outside being so heavy, it made a thunderous noise when shut (repeatedly). Not only the noise from the outside but the when a storm blew through there was a very loud whistle coming from the windows as I assume the windows were not completely sealed and the door not being sealed created a suction in the room. If our door had not been ajar (unsealed) then we believe these things wouldn't have been as much of a problem. When asked if we could possibly move to another room we were told that they were all booked up. However, when I checked the website immediately afterwards for the same day and same size room there were unoccupied rooms available. I'm not exactly sure how that works but it seemed a bit misleading. I will not be staying here again.
Stayed here for a night while traveling. Room, bathroom and bedding were clean and better than expected. You can here some road noise from highway but not enough to ruin good night sleep after long day on road. For the traveler just looking for clean room at fair price 2 thumbs up. I would stay again next time passing through.
