A fantastic experience. I was blown away by Sundy house, and never expected the grounds to be so beautiful.
The service was fantastic, from the receptionists to the waiters. The food was delicious, everyone was pleased.
The grounds and the room itself was so unique, with just the right amount of age without it feeling too antiquated.
We had a great time wandering around the gardens in the morning.
Overall an incredible stay, and a fantastic little getaway.response / report this review -

Elegant and intimate setting! Our catered menu was excellent! The events director Tom Rasmussen and staff were both attentive, professional, and extremely accommodating. There is no hesitation in recommending the venue for any special event you are planning in the future.

An intimate and very romantic place! The food was delicious and our waitress paced out our courses very well. We never felt rushed, yet she was attentive and anticipated our needs. My husband and I can't wait to go back!

We went there for lunch to taste there food for a possible event. The food was very good. The gardens are very nice. The staff were all very helpful. We will be holding our event there.

From the outside, it looks like a charming home that might belong to a relative and once you enter one of several beautifully decorated dining rooms, you realize that you are about to enjoy some great food in a beautiful environment. Come with an empty stomach as you will full it with the most delicious array of seafood, meats, salads, desserts and so many other amazing goodies. The staff is beyond polite and helpful - service is excellent. Come here anytime but Sunday brunch is a must - seriously a gastronomic marathon 🥇

I always have a great experience here. Great food, service and entertainment. They had live jazz. Stroll around the koi pond and sit under the shade. It is a nice atmosphere but it will cost you about 75/person.

Beautiful venue where we had our wedding! Everywhere you look is a picture worthy of taking. The Staff were so accommodating and everything was just amazing. All our guests commented on how lovely and great the food was! Would definitely love to go back to have brunch there one day, it truly was magical.

I had the most amazing experience here and it will forever be an important memory. My then boyfriend took me here for dinner May 21st, 2017 at 6:30 pm. Immediately was in awe by the elaborate but quaint decor. It was warm and comforting. We ate on the terrace and the garden and pond was breathtaking. We ordered the Korean BBQ skewers and Fig salad for appetizers. I ordered the seared duck for the main course and he ordered the pork shank. Everything was delectable. After dinner, my boyfriend took me on a stroll through the gardens and proposed to me in front of their natural lagoon pool. I cried and said yes. When we went back to our table our wonderful waitress gave us two champagnes on the house. The most amazing dinner experience I have ever had. Great service, food, and ambiance. Our waitress even let us know that they do wedding venues . This place will definitely be on our list! Thank you to the staff at Sundy House for the best memory I'll ever have.

What a wonderful place. This was the second time our friends took us here for Sunday brunch. Both were wonderful experiences. The food is so fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is very serene and beautiful. Today we were sat in one of the many outside gardens, absolutely beautiful. Our server was Kelly, she was so professional and sweet. I look forward to returning.

This is the 2nd time I have eaten at Sundy House. The first time was outstanding and approximately two years ago. I have never had Eggs Benedict served on biscuits before. The eggs and hash browns were cold. The deserts were not that good. The food just didn't taste that good. What happened? The setting is beautiful. The music they were playing on 4/30/17 was totally annoying..too loud. I am sorry to have to write this review. The price you charge per person $75.00 is ridiculous especially for someone who doesn't drink. I hope you consider hiring a new chief and learn how to keep the food warm.

By far the best ambiance for outdoor dining in the area. Food is outstanding and so is the service. Never felt rushed. Just a totally enjoyable evening. Been twice in last two weeks and hope we can go again before we have to return home. This is our new must go to restaurant in Del Ray.

Returned here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love the Sundy House. The gardens and the atmosphere are unique to the area. There is nothing to compare to this place, and it is right down town. If you want to eat in a lush garden, then this is the place. Also a great place to get married. We did. Love it!
