My family have frequented Stone Creek a few times now since moving to the west side of Hamilton County. I have to be honest that in all of my visits, I have never ordered a meal that I really loved. Every meal there is just something off either the meat is poorly executed, the portion sizes were WAY off or the seasoning just isn't right. The only reason its receiving three stars is because the service isn't terrible and the location is nice. It also doesn't hurt that Stone Creek is one of the few "nicer" places to eat on Michigan, where everywhere else is your typical chain type places. I would still recommend but with caution on the actual food

My opinion, after several weeks of eating here on business I won’t be returning.. always waiting for water refills and tonight was the last. Ordered a $32 steak that must of been cooked on the plate. Waiter told me the plate was hot to only barely touch it with my forearm and a hour later it still stings. A plate should not be that hot, unless the food was cooked on it. Little to no empathy from the waiter or lady at the table desk. This place needs to up its service as McDonald’s would better respond to an issue than this place..

The food here is good, the ambiance is nice (once you make it past the hostess), but it's not worth going because you may be turned away half the time.

I've had seating issues here before, but today's experience was just weird.

I walked in with a co-worker for some lunch. "Do you have a reservation?" the hostess asked. No? Because I am just trying to have lunch on a Tuesday in Zionsville, IN? Wasn't aware reservations were needed AT ALL TIMES for a table for 2. I looked past the hostess into the half empty dining room and over at the completely empty bar. "I'm sorry," the hostess lamented, "we don't have anything available, it will be a 20 min. wait." "It doesn't look all that full," I responded. "Reservations," she explained. I looked back again at the enormous, half-empty room. We left. This has happened to me here too many times!

I am not sure why this restaurant feels the need to keep half of its dining room empty. Perhaps they think the Queen may drop by, or that it gives it a sense of exclusivity. Perhaps all of those tables really are reserved and all of those parties just happen not to show up every time I happen to be there. Maybe the hostess just hates me as much as I secretly hate her.

Regardless, I do not think I will be returning here. I think I will select a place that doesn't treat me as a nuisance for trying to eat lunch without a reservation.

First time going and we weren't impressed. There are much better options in this price range throughout the city. Filet mignon was too dry and overcooked. Bartender did a pretty poor job with a simple, common cocktail. Most of my wife's meal was overcooked. Trouble with seating despite the reservation. Etc. etc. Nice atmosphere, but we won't be returning.

This place is over priced and over hyped. The food tastes bland and the carrot cake is the worst carrot cake I've ever had. I had the combo: baby back ribs with 6 oz. sirloin, garlic mash and Parmesan risotto and carrot cake for desert. I didn't finish my meal. None of it tasted good and I'm quite certain I'll never go back to try more items on the menu. There are better upscale restaurants within 10 miles if you want better food. Ruth's Chris, Harry and Izzy's, Bonefish Grill, Sullivan's, Coopers Hawk and a few others aren't too far away. Go there instead.

The food was immaculate, EVERYTHING! We dined for lunch and had the Spicy Garlic Shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp melted in my mouth and the chilli garlic sauce was bursting with flavor. I had a salad with sirloin steak that was My friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich, which he enjoyed. Even the fries were great! This place is a must try!!!

Never had a bad experience here. Food is excellent! It is on the pricier side though so if you're looking for a cheap dinner, this may not be your best bet. The bread is so light and fluffy and the tomato basil oil is delicious. Their French onion soup is to die for!

This was an interesting dinner. About halfway through, I'd have given it 1 star, because our server was one of the very worst I've ever had at a nice restaurant. I won't bore you with a list of problems, but eventually a member of our party finally went and asked to see a manager.

Even that took another nearly 10 minutes BUT, once she came out and was made aware of the situation, she was wonderful. She actually took over as our server, and fixed every issue. We finally got drink refills. The incorrect food was fixed, and she took a sizable chunk off the final bill. She turned around what had been an almost laughably bad experience.

I plan to go again (if for nothing else than to try the baby back ribs; they ran out a half hour before we arrived), so hopefully our initial server was an anomaly.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice now, and it was great both times. Mondays are 1/2 price wine bottles, which is amazing. Their food is excellent! Also, they give you bread and oil before your meal comes and it's arguably the most amazing thing ever.

The food is always great. My husband has health conditions that cause us to ask for special preparation which the kitchen tries to do.

Two favorite servers, Carlos and Alan, always try hard to get the health requests right with the kitchen.giving us peace of mind.

Because we like the servers so much, we usually choose the restaurant for our Corporation meals and business lunches .

We also love them for our larger friends and family gatherings period we are very lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant right in our own neighborhood.
