The concession food prices are far more reasonable at Tibbs Drive In. They have 4 nice digital screens and decent F.M. Radio sound. This place is excellent definetly five stars!!:)

I love the drive-in, kept very clean and updated technology. I would give them a 5 star, but quite frankly their customers are the one thing holding them back. Often rude, drunk, loud, boisterous, and typically multiple patrons are high. They have security walk the grounds regularly, just doesn't seem to be a deterrent. We will not take our young child there.

We've been out there twice---once in the Summer of 2014 and once in the Summer of 2017. I'd give five stars for the venue, but the most recent visit was to see a couple of R rated horror flicks. It was a Saturday evening, it was really hot, and the natives were restless.

We had a couple fighting in a car---verbally, complete with profanity--withing earshot. We then had a clod pull in a few cars down and leave his engine running and lights on until someone from management intervened.

Our trip in 14 involved kiddie flicks and the crowd was totally cool. The horror movie "It" drew some characters creepy enough to be on the screen. Nice place though..a wee bit retro if you're old enough to remember the time when drive ins were common. Pick your show carefully if you're taking kids.

This place is great! You purchase you ticket(s) and they give you a flyer with all the radio stations for each screen that you can tune to as well as a plastic bag for any garbage you might accumulate. Drive in and turn off your lights, the paths are lit and clearly marked with signs to indicate where to go for desired screen. Coloured poles mark what size vehicles should park where and at the center is a huge concessions stand, arcade, and restrooms building. Beneath screen 1 is a wee playground area with merry-go-round, swings, etc. and grassy field. (Most of the kid-friendly movies are shown on that screen, too, so you can keep an eye on your kids and an eye on the movie.) They announce when they'll be closing the center building and 10 mins ahead of doing so and then you just head out when you're finished. No one comes around and kicks you out. It's great!

Really an awesome deal if you are ok with doing a double-header of movies. Their prices are great and their film selection is always good. Would definitely recommend to frequent movie-watchers.

Came here with high hopes. Got here super early, long line but didn't bother me. Clean bathrooms and nice price for 2 movies That's about all I have to give for this star. People were driving with their lights on and parking and reversing all over the place. To the point where I couldn't tell what I was looking at on the screen. No one has any respect for others. We got here early and after the first movie got asked to move our car over so another car could fit..there were spots everywhere. Upset me that people who come in late expect to get close spots when there are plenty in the back. It should me more enforced and regulated that people need to turn lights off.

I enjoyed this experience especially being from out of state. The audio quality was great. The screens were visible from all parts of the lot and you could move as you wanted to different movies once you entered the area with screens. The food area has lots of candy options and great sundaes.

If you love drive ins please go to this one. Many drive ins have closed down this one is still doing it. I have been coming to tibbs drive in since I was a kid when my father worked for Chrysler which is closed now. This place holds great memories and the drive in is just as it was 50 plus years and going. I highly recommend this location. Please take your family here to watch on ((4)) screens. Yes they have 4 outdoor screens!! Park for the kids. And the concession area is always tempting you with good food. Restroom not the cleanest. But its a good last of its kind location. That is also pet friendly!!! Go!!

We discovered Tibbs 2 years ago on a whim searching for a drive in theater in Indy. It's only a 30 minute drive from our home in Hamilton County. I always feel safe and have yet to see any shady characters roaming around (which I have heard of some drive ins). It's very family friendly featuring a playground and family feature film every week. The concession has a variety of offerings and is as reasonably priced for any movie theater or attraction featuring a concession stand. Bathrooms are clean! We love to come here when we want to see popular summer movies but can't get a sitter for our two year old. I have recommended this place to many friends and family and will continue to do so.

Absolutely love it. Tibbs is a quintessential summer experience. 4 screens, 8 movIes. Tickets and concessions are reasonably priced and you get two films for the price of admission.

The building itself is a little run-down, but Tibbs is an awesome drive-in movie theater. I always enjoy going there. You get two movies for the price of one.

Took my wife there for date night and it was her first time to a drive in and it was the best date I have ever been on and we are taking our children there tonight as a great attendance reward and they have no clue how much fun this is going to be, as dad grew up in a drive in and it was the most funnest years of my life yet, but I believe my kids are going to top those memories in one night at the drive in and glad it's Tibbs Took our kids there n had the most magnificent family movie night everrrrrrrr..

I was in the West Tibbs Drive-In Cinema for an independent movie screening. These are older stadium seating with comfortable cushions. Unfortunately with thin insulation you can hear a loud action movie going on next door. This can be distracting if you are watch a movie that is just about all dialogue.
Regular price $12.00 and they have twilight pricing before 4pm for $9.75. But you get a better discount by buying your movie tickets at a discounter or any of the wholesale clubs. They run about $16 for 2 passes. Near by is a parking garage.
