Trash. First theater I've been to in a long time that had us throw away our drinks to enter. I would've bought popcorn but because of that I didn't want to give them any more money. On top of that the theater was disgusting, tickets were overpriced, seat selection made it look like we were getting a seat in the back but we got one too close to the screen, and some of the staff were rude. They also have this ludicrous rule that people under 18 can't be there after 9PM. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hamilton 16 IMAX instead. You'll thank yourself later.

AMC Castleton is a great theater. Over the past 6 months there have continual improvements, including a new IMAX theater and new menu items. The McGuffins bar has a surprising array of choices and the bar staff is always friendly. I travel past two other theaters to get to this one and it's worth it.

I like the conferble seats because it is easy to ajust to the right place and the movies are nice quality and kinda loud but that is nice because you never really miss a word the people say in the movie.There are some people that ruin it but the security take care of that.I overall give it 5 stars for being a good place for me to take my kids,(lol I am not a perent got ya BUT it is a very nice place to go with my cousin).

I've lived here and have gone to this theatre for many years, and year after year, my experience has declined tremendously!!
My last experience, since they've recently (maybe for a few months) included a bar for the adults my brother and I saw, War for the Planet of the Apes a women next to me sat down OH MY LORD!! The smell of alcohol was VERY unpleasant. She fanned herself and the smell of alcohol coming from her, I literally felt like I was getting drunk, THE ENTIRE MOVIE (for 2 hours and 20minutes) smell of alcohol. Watching a movie, and smelling alcohol is VERY RUDE and invasive!!! I don't know how much she drank prior, but I find it condoning alcohol in a family friendly environment, to watch a movie, extremely unpleasant!! Granted this is more of a personal issuehowever, movie and consetion prices is OUTRAGEOUS itself it be nice and more enjoyable if wasn't sitting next to people who decide to drink heavily prior to a movie!!

Trash over flowing as if it hadn't been dumped all day. Water fountain water was hot? Showroom trashed. Stuff everywhere. Butter/oil on seats. Will go elsewhere nxt time. For a long time.

Awesome theater, super comfy seats that recline back. Popcorn was great and their slushies are the best. Probably the most important piece, though, was the A/V. Very impressed with the sound and picture quality in the theater.

Added bonus: the online AMC ticket system works really well. Bought our tickets in advance using their website, and they were sent immediately via text message.

This theater is out of this world. The comfort of the chairs, the reclining feature, the bar and large concession stand. what else could you ask for but a great time and AMC provides that!

I really liked this theater. The seats are wide and are the reclining type. I was able to reserve seats beforehand and just had to show the confirmation email to enter. Parking can be bit of an issue since it is located in the mall but the lot next to it has lots of spots. Our movie stopped at a critical moment during the climax due to a power outage. They gave each person 2 free movie passes valid in any amc theater for any movie, within 10 mins. We discovered that the whole area had lost power and even traffic lights weren't working. I really appreciate the customer service although it wasn't their fault. Will definitely come back again.

Such a charming little theater. I love old theaters with character. There are so few of them left now. It's such a privilege to have one that is still thriving in IN . I went twice for Bah Fest and really want to come back for a sing-a-long. I have my eyes on the Beauty and the Beast one. Watch out kids! Don't steal my spotlight!

I love the Dolby theater, the seats recline and are paired in twos, the movies sound amazing, the bass shakes your seat, and I love I can reserve exactly where I want to sit when I'm ordering tickets online. Cons, website is basically unusable on mobile, and the option to text your tickets to your phone does not work.
