The resort is extremely kid friendly and clean. The 2 pools are heated during the fall/winter months and the water park is always a blast provided it's not too cold outside. There are nice grills available if you want to cook steaks or brauts. I have seen both the one bedroom and two bedroom layouts, and really liked both. Being able to wake up every morning and watch the waves on the beach crash with a cup of coffee in my hand is absolute paradise.

Great place to stay and its on the quieter end of the beach. Amenities include a great water park below the building for the kids. There's also a pool and a lazy river to cool off in. More importantly, there's an ice machine that accepts credit cards between the buildings.

If you have kids this is a perfect vacation spot. They have multiple pools and kids play areas, a hot tub and a tiny river ride. Plus the beach is at your back door. The room we stayed in was affordable, though probably a little pricier in season. Overall a pleasant experience.

First thing is Only one roll of toliet paper. The rest of the time it's up to you to purchase your own. Same thing with garbage bags. You get the first one- then buy some. Wash cloths don't exist here. If you want them bring them or buy them as we had to. Never expected not having trash bags or wash cloths. Oh and they give you one roll of paper towels too. For the price of the unit and every day supplies not provided is enough for me to never return.

The resort is very clean and nice. Good view of the Mexican Bay. The weather is very nice at the end August also not to crowded. The beach is not steep, which makes perfect for children. The water in the bay is warm. And every thing about this place I like. I would like to return here more.

Splash is a great Resort, and this is our second year staying here for vacation. The room we're in this year is clean and in good repair, and the resort staff is always around cleaning so the place looks great in general. They have security walking around to make sure that only the people staying here are the one's in the pool area and other areas. The pool area is awesome for kids, with a Splash pad, lazy river, couple pools, hot tub, and a big playground type area with a big water bucket that fills up and dumps water on everyone. They have a decent little gym, and I think even a game room, but I've not used the game room before. The view is great with a nice patio area. Pitt room this year had a pack n play in it, along with beach toys to play with. They have several stations to clean your feet off before you come back in too. The only two things that's are a little rough, is that there's no ramp to the beach (only stairs, so if you have a cart or a rolling cooler, it's not easy) and you have to park in the garage across the street, grab a luggage cart, fill it and cross the street on the bridge through the lobby to wait on the elevator, then to your room, unload and then take the luggage cart all the way back. It takes some walking, and sometimes the wait on the elevator is a bit long, but no more than I'd expect.

Splash is located just west of the busiest part of front Beach road in Panama City Beach. This means traffic isn't as bad to get in and out and still not too far from things you might want to get to. Each condo is different so be sure and check the exact configuration meets your needs. One year we ended up in a condo with a "bunk room" that had no door. Thus the kids couldn't use it since they go to bed before the adults. The buildings pools are well maintained and clean. The polls really are the Stars of the show. The infant splash area, lazy river and connected pool, a deeper pool and then under the other building is the kids play area with giant dump bucket and water canons and slides, and then the hot tub and connected pool with a bench to rest on while the kids play. Being directly on the beach with direct access between the two buildings with rinse showers is really nice and makes that trek across the bridge from the parking deck worth it. Do try to get really check in. The elevators are swamped at 4pm several days a week.

I did not personally rent a bedroom, but with the people I stayed with the person paying for the condon was charged for issues which we never caused or "damages/stolen property of laundry baskets and a light fixture" bullshit.. probably just trying to make an extra buck off of us. Not only that, the security guard was almost too involved into what you're doing. Make sure you have your wristband otherwise he will be an ass towards you. I gave this place two stars just because I loved the ocean and the resort pools, it was indeed family friendly, but as for the system. Its a joke.

We stayed on the floor 20, service was great, and we had fun. Plus it is walking distance to the beach. Great fun.

Went here in April of 2016. Terrible! Lazy river, pools, and the water park are supposed to be heated. The ocean is warmer than these! WiFi stinks. I had to talk my way out of a break up with my boyfriend because he thought I was ignoring him when really I couldn't get WiFi or service. Rooms are nasty. Front desk is RUDE. Splash is STUPID.

Great location. The room is really nice. The splash pad is fun for the kids. We only had 1 hour to check in and it was difficult getting information about policies on the weekend. The person who did check us in told us we were the last ones and she was going home; made it no secret she was more interested in leaving than helping us. But otherwise great place to visit with awesome beach view.
