This place has a horrible issue with elevators. Inside were nice though and security and staff were pleasant. We stayed and spent a lot of money to basically spend most of our vacation waiting on a elevator rather than being able to enjoy our time on vacation. several of the locals living at this resort told my family and I the one elevator had been broken for over a MONTH! I feel horrible for these people who live at this place. PLEASE WHEN YOU BOOK AT LAKETOWN, STAY ON A LOWER FLOOR.

Rooms were clean and view was great, but I didn't know that when I made my reservations that the agent was putting my family and I in the middle of a little league football tournament. This has been the worst Thanksgiving trip EVER!!!!!! I feel like we are secluded to our rooms, these kids are terrible and the parents are worse. We heard arguing all night long and the smell of marijuana when we tried to enjoy the ocean view. I do not recommend this resort during the "Snapper Bowl" not unless you want to have a terrible time with your family. We are checking out early!!!!!!!

We like staying here! The condo is perfect for a weeks vacation! Kitchen complete with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, dishes, utensils, etc, washer dryer, 2 full bathrooms! The king size bed was not very comfortable this year, i could feel the coils in it. There is a lot of walking to get to your room however! I like that you can see the ocean out the front and the lake out the back with the water show in the evenings!

Just wanted to do a month to month rental aka the "Snowbird" rate & they wanted credit check, background check, $50 application fee, $500 deposit, 620 credit score, 24 month rental history, 3 references, 4 recent check stubs, no pets, information on my bank, and had a paper for my current landlord to fill out. I will be staying at the Shores of Panama. Across the street & directly on the beachwhich just accepts cash/credit card & no hassle!

Wonderful. Nicole never let my iced tea glass empty. Plates were removed promptly and an explanation of how the buffet works was told to us right away. Now about the food
Large shrimp, perfectly cooked crab legs, flounder was moist and tasty. Crab cakes were a little spicy for my taste. She crab soup and bananas foster for dessert. Worth every dime.
It was noisy as it got busier. We ate about 5:30 and we were seater right away. As larger parties arrived and it got later there was a wait. Tables were turned over quickly. Enjoy!response / report this review -

We stayed for a last minute trip before the kids started back to school. Enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet. Across the street from Pineapple Willie's and the beach access. Walking distance to Walmart, Ripley's, and other things. Our room was super comfortable and equipped. The elevators we're the only drawback. They were very slow, but we found that if we used the end elevators instead of the main ones, we got around much, much quicker. The pools we're great!

We don't plan on staying here again. The buffet was Awesome and the Service there but there is no one to answer the phone at Security nor the front desk after a certain time if you have a problem or need anything. We had a family above us so loud we could here the music vibrating our room and this was at 2 in the morning. The Elevators are extremely slow and you could wait for about 20 mins on the to come. The pools are nice and the Rooms are as well. Just wont stay here again.

Perfect place for a vacation or stay-cation.
The condos are fully furnished with a kitchen
Very clean , beds comfortable.
The views are amazing. They offer a breakfast and dinner buffet. The chef is well known and his she crab soup the best you will ever eat. Five pools! Movies and light shows at night , as well as concerts with great cover bands. Gift shop and candy store for the kiddos . Easy access to the world's most beautiful beaches . I felt like there was plenty of parking which can be hard to find at some hotels. I also love the inside. Very clean. Nice staff. Love the view.

This place was awesome, and it's so close to the beach. You literally just cross the street and you're there. I like that it had a convenient store on the bottom level, and there was plenty of parking available. Everything was up-to-date, and we had a ton of fun.

The surcuity was on point this weekend and we loved it. The condo was very clean. The front desk service was very helpful. The pools were very clean. There was not a lot of noise going on there an other guest very helpful. We are drinkers only during vacation time an we went down to the bar to get a two drinks. That couldn't be made the way we are use to it being made. But it's was ok we still enjoyed ourselves. 9.5 Stars if you ask us.. We will return to this resort

The room was really nice and spacious (we had the 2 bedroom unit). We were driving and unfortunately checked in late so we did miss out somewhat on opportunity to check out the room gor missing items. Our linen for the sofa bed had been there for quite some time and was dusty and because it was so late, front desk did not have extras. But overall everything was nice. Everything we needed to cook and clean except dishwashing liquid and trash bags. The view was amazing especially at sunrise and sunset. Wish the fountain show was a little longer. Definitely worth the money. Family pool was awesome. Kids pool was awesome as was hot tub!! Yes 4 different pools. All amazing! We will definitely come back for longer than 2 or 3 days
