This was easily one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in and certainly the biggest King Bed room (aside from a suite) that I've seen. Very clean, helpful staff and attentive valet services. I also very much enjoyed their breakfast, although it can get very crowded on weekend mornings so potentially expect a wait.

Great experience in this very modern hotel. The service was impeccable and the room was spacious and extremely quiet. Location is perfect. My only complaint is the bar service since nobody from the staff came to me to ask what I wanted even though there were 3 servers standing and I was seated for at least 20 minutes before I had to stand up and ask them to bring me and my wife something.

Excellent service. The staff are professional and elegant. Very accomodating. I had a superior experience here. The standard of service here is no less than impressive. Rooms are clean and location is prime.

From the moment I was greeted by the doormen, my experience was stellar. Everyone greeted with a smile and was super helpful. The property was impeccable and clean and beautiful. I picked it because of it's convenience and it's known luxury. It did not disappoint!!

We were in the mood for French for lunch, and the Sofitel has always proven to be good choice. It being a nice day, we sat outside on their patio. As usual, the food was both nicely presented and delicious. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful, even working with us to order off-menu. Whenever in town, this is a favorite spot to revisit.

The hotel room was nice, a little small since we needed a crib in the room. The room was clean and very comfortable. All of the staff we encountered was more than helpful and kind. Breakfast was exceptional every morning. The stay with this hotel was the highlight of out trip.

We had our family of 8 and everyone enjoyed it!
The staff had milk & cookies sent to our room upon arrival; very thoughtful. And our last day the staff sent fresh fruit with the children's name in chocolate on the the plate; very much appreciated. The restaurant food was excellent.

Why no coffee machines in rooms? Serving to 9 in the bar doesn't cut it. Desk person specifically said specialty coffees like mocha and latte were available for room service but that was false. We were charged for a valet parking night we never used; that's uncool. Also the bar needs better beer. Finally, $6.60 for mini bar Coke! Come on now.

Amazing hotel with fabulous hospitality! Henry Guzman made our stay particularly incredible by setting up welcome drinks as we arrived in the room, per my boyfriend's request. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure every need and want was met. Nalaka at the bar is very kind and accommodating. The doormen are very friendly and eager to help in any way, as well as the front desk staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed. You can tell that there is a French influence in the design and decor of the rooms. We had a king-size bed that was heavenly and plush. I slept really well on it. The pillows are also really great. One of my pet peeves when staying at a hotel is not getting restful sleep; at the Sofitel, I slept like a baby! They provide complimentary water next to the bed and you can call the front desk if you need more. I feel like all these details make it a truly marvelous hotel choice in DC.

We come to Washington quite frequently for business. We skip around with hotels until now. Love , Love this place. The room and bathroom was just perfect. A lovely corner with lots of windows and light! Check- in was a breeze. The location was icing on the cake! Just perfect for walking to all things DC!! This trip was mixed with business and our anniversary!

Absolutely have enjoyed my time here thus far. Beautiful room and the staff has been nothing but pleasant and helpful. I swear their housekeeping staff are ninjas. We leave for max 30 minutes and when we get back (every time) the bed is made and room is clean.its fantastic! Also small, but much needed perk for early morning starts is their free coffee.

We came into town to celebrate our new engagement. Upon checking in we were greeted, we were congratulated and upgraded to a top floor suite! The room was very large, comfortable, beautiful and very accommodating. We went out for lunch and when we came back, the turn down serve had made these lovely towel swans on our bed. (With a note saying it was her first time making those- very thoughtful, very sweet) If that wasn't enough, later in the afternoon, the bell rang delivering fresh chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle of cold water. They had cards for us to play and ice cream and midnight brought by room service. The drinks at the bar were very tasty and breakfast on our last morning was delivered quickly so we could catch our light. Delicious to boot! (Try the Nutella crepes and chocolate croissant) The Sofitel and staff made for a wonderful weekend getaway and made us feel very appreciated and special. Thank you to everyone!
