The rooms were very affordable, but still nice and clean. Bottles of water were available for no charge at the front desk, and coffee was brewed around the clock. Breakfast was impressive for such a cheap hotel. Freshly made sausage gravy was a nice surprise and very delicious.

Stayed here as part of a wedding party and had a fantastic time. The king suite was worth every penny - soft, comfortable bed, lots of storage, giant bathroom with separate tub and shower (both luxurious). Breakfast has a wide array of hot and cold choices. Great for a stay with furry friends, too - parking lot backs into a wooded area for those necessary short trips out, with sidewalks nearby for longer walks. It's also convenient to restaurants and shopping and about 5 minutes from Patriots' Point. Charleston is a few minutes further but not inconvenient - and you get to drive over the beautiful Ravenal Bridge to get there.

Sorry to say this was an unpleasant stay. We were given a double bed room because they said thats all they had available. I honestly don't believe that but anyway one of the beds were broke down in the center, Sounded horrible. Good thing we only needed one bed . Also beds are very uncomfortable very hard. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep. Breakfast was a joke. The coffee was like mud I overloaded mine with cream and sugar and it didn't help. There was limited supply to one waffle because the breakfast attendant said they were running out. No eggs other than a boiled one that was in the fridge. Biscuits and sausage looked terrible oh and there was about a handful of cheerios and fruitloops which she also said thats all they had. Let me add Breakfast started at 8:30am we went down at 9am. I don't think we will be back. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because it was quiet.

I have stayed here for the last 2 months for work. I tried 3 other hotels in the area and this is the best one I have been at. Very friendly staff and work with your busy schedule for work.

Would definitely recommend staying here for the best bedding ever! Rooms are nice and have refrigerators and microwaves. They are modern. Bathrooms are clean (no mold!) and modern styling, have decent blowdryers too. They give you supplies you need like shampoo, conditioner,lotion,shaving supplies if you ask for them).
Breakfast is excellent for a bar-breakfast. Hot and cold items in good supply and enough for all. Including waffles,eggs,sausage patties,cereals,yogurt,fruits,toast,pastries,muffins, juices,tea and coffee too. And the breakfast lady is so sweet and helpful. She makes everything run smoothly and keeps all the food items full all morning from 7am-10am daily!
Just make sure you KNOW your itinerary because the staff is not helpful in recommending places to dine or tours to take. The response we got from every person we asked a question of said,"I don't know, I don't know the restaurants here or the tours" They will, however, be able to give you directions into town and supply you with a map.
Overall, we would return unless we find a place similar or better with room safes. The hotel website and information through other travel websites states they have room safes in all rooms but, they do not have them!
They have a nice pool but, we could use it due to the people there at the time were unruly and some a bit threatening. I am sure that is not always the case.
Great value for a very nice hotel in the Charleston area. Easy to get into town and back to the hotel too!response / report this review -

In terrible need of a remodel. Wall paper coming off the wall in bathroom. Floor wasn't vacuumed. Room furniture in need of repair. The outlets added in the room were used by room lamps and clock and microwave. No extra outlets in the room for tech. I thought it would be better for the rates they charged. Never again. The bed was comfortable and clean sheets.

Great place. Easy check in. Great customer service from staff. Everyone seems cheerful and smiles at you. Not once did I get a cold shoulder from anyone. Room was lovely. Clean. Has a pool, anyone with kids knows that's a plus. For what you get the price isn't bad.

Clogged toilet in first room, given a used bottle of conditioner, stampede upstairs. Stains on bedding. It's a wonder I slept at all.

Arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM knowing that check-in was at 3:00PM. I was told that the rooms would be available in 10 minutes which was still before 3 PM. We were trying to get in and get showers and dressed for a 5:00 PM wedding locally. Worked out very well. Also our room was very nice and I have absolutely no complaints about the room. I did find a light switch on a wall near the side of the bed that did not seem to control anything, but I did not mind as I could control all of the other lights in the room to my satisfaction. Marvin was the person who checked us in and I really liked his sense of humor. The location of the hotel is excellent if you are going to Patriot's Point and it is very accessible if going to Isle of Palms, or Mt. Pleasant. And if you don't want to stay downtown Charleston where the rates are even higher, this is one of the closest hotels to downtown after crossing over the Cooper River.

We were very happy with our choice. The room was clean and up-to-date, with plenty of space (we needed floor space for the baby's folding crib). The staff was extremely kind and friendly--they gave us little welcome bags with snacks, and even helped me make the perfect waffles at breakfast. The location was great--minutes from downtown, also next to a beautiful park + playground and shopping, including Trader Joes. TJs, along with the fridge and microwave, helped us avoid dragging the kids out for too many restaurant meals. And we saved a lot of money compared to parking, eating, etc downtown. The cons: there was some minor wear and tear in the bathroom, and I would have preferred a bathtub to a shower stall. Will look for Sleep Inns in the future.
