I was recently there for 4 months and it was a wonderful experience!! It is what you should expect, they were very clear when i booked the room and upon check-in what was available in the room and the housekeeping procedures. Anyone with negative reviews regarding the same either didnt do their homework and ask questions or was expecting something for nothing. Please, call around the area and compare the weekly/monthly rates You would have realized then you were getting a deal. Desmond was amazing and over accomodating, cannot say enough about him, he was simply wondful!!! As was all of the front desk staff anytime I needed anything. Highly recommend this location!

WoodSpring in North Charleston is one of the best places to be. My experience here has been awesome.Desmond is the up most respectable person I've meet and gladly do business with. He's just willing to accomodate his guests in any way possible. Desmond your the BEST. Thank you

Horrible customer relations all the way to the corporate level. I was bitten by a brown recluse after the first night there and checked out the following day staying a total of 1 night. but because i had originally paid for 7 they wont provide a refund. Stay at your own risk. Will keep updating with any progress i will be speaking to an attorney about my options. I lost my job and out a lot of money because this hotel obviously has little to no regard for occupants and does nothing to prevent pests from infesting the hotel possible lawsuit headed their way for lost wages, dr. bills, and pain and sufferring.

Nice placegood area, easy access from 526 exit 14. Great assistant GM Desmond. Has gone above and beyond in his assistance. Bring your cookware and utensils. Fenced pond out back has a 6ft gator, gotta ducks roam the area. I am happy with my accommodations.

I can't begin to tell you how bad this place is. Set up for 2 double beds, but after arriving found 1 bed and a ratty loveseat. It seems that the owner caters to a particular clientele. After driving 400 miles, I had to sleep on the floor, now I get to work a 12 hour day. It's not that bad according to management, since we'll only be here 6 more days.

It's not so bad if you know what you're getting into. This place is cheap. The prices are cheap. The rooms are cheap. There is no coffee maker, pans, class, or front desk clerk. The hours for the desk are very odd, but you can get someone on the phone eventually. No pool, gym, and I don't think they have a business center either. One elevator!!!! It's not great. I'm giving them two stars because the staff was very nice and helpful. You definitely want to call and ask questions before hand. If you need a place to crash for the week, and you just need a bed and a kitchen, this works, but don't expect anything good. Anything!!!!

Room, hallway, and front lobby smelt of cat urine and smoke. We had to send someone to go buy air freshener. We had to keep the window open. Someone we had with us had asthma and had to stay outside. There were questionable stains on the carpet and the TV didn't work properly.

Clean and exactly as described. Leslie and other staff was very nice. Be prepared though. No coffee pot, plates, utensils, etc.

Although I was just visiting a guest here, the rooms seemed clean, well stocked and well designed. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Desmond was wonderful and helped us get settled in. We had a little trouble finding it and the rooms were overbooked however they gave us a second bed in the single room. The walls are a little thin so you can hear the other guests. They are indeed a no-nonsense, no frills hotel. Good if you're just wanting a place to crash and have lots of adventures for the day.
