Pretty house right on Battery Street. One of the few old houses that you are able to tour and see how the elites used to live.

We stayed two nights and had a superb experience. I loved the location because it was more secluded and peaceful. It was about a 20 min ago walk to all that the historic French Quarter has to offer and we were always easily able to get a uber. The room and bathroom were well appointed and comfortable. The bed was a little hard for my taste but we still slept well. We enjoyed the afternoon and pre-dinner snacks/happy hour. Breakfast was fine though not what I would consider a traditional B&B hot breakfast - just bagels, yogurt, granola, boil eggs and juices/tea/coffee. It did meet our needs and give us a bite in the am to get us going. The staff made reservations for us before our stay and chose excellent restaurants. Can't wait to return!

The bathrooms were small but clean. The room was quaint and private.

Loved the hospitality, the room and the authentic feeling of staying in a room from that time period! The guest services lady Minta, was absolutely the most helpful and nicest hotel clerk I've ever met! As for the ghost stories, (because I stayed in the notorious room 10) I didn't see anything although throughout the night I could here what sounded like furniture being moved in the room beside me, which just so happened to be vacant.
