Keep an eye on the charges to your credit card. There may be some over-charging going on here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's a bathtub in every room. Overall it's a decent place for the money.

The location is right next to the freeway, but you cant hear the cars. The room was clean and presentable. The person st the front desk was nice and friendly

Just stopped in for a quick overnight stay. Late night desk attendant relatively quick but very difficult to understand though the late night window. I understand the need for security but that window system definitely needs to be upgraded. Heavier front doors/windows on the rooms would also be much more helpful as it is very close to the freeway and you can hear pretty much everything all night long. Also way too many noisy people walking by at all hours of the night.

I had a wonderful time staying at the Howard Johnson hotel. The room was spacious. Rhe bathroom was perfectly separated. There was a mini fridge and microwave. Good way to save money. It was right off the freeway.

Very pleasant experience, stayed in a king room on the end which was a little larger and window faced the back which was a nicer view. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable and wifi worked great the whole time. Wasn't bothered by housekeepers when my sign was on the door like at some other hotels. I prefer to clean up after myself and let them know if I need something. I'm have gonna have to say this is the best value in hotel circle at this price range. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Clean, affordable place, great staff, a good option if all you need is a place to sleep in a comfortable bed, with very acceptable pillows in a very clean room. Free parking was a nice add on. We never got out of the room before the free breakfast was over so i can't comment about it.

Clean and quaint. Stayed during the week. Right off of the highway, so it was easy to get to. Room had a tv, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ac unit, and some really nice blackout curtains. Had an issue with the shower and sink. Occasionally, no water would come out of the faucets. They did produce a lot of noise, however; sometimes even when they were turned off. Wasn't too big of a deal, but definitely worth noting. Overall, it was worth it. You get what you pay for, and I didn't pay much this comfortable stay.

Seedy area, nothing around it, long walk or UBER to food. Hotel rooms were a dive. Floors were gross. My curtains weren't installed to shut all the way. Broken lamps, etc - not worth the price

We had rented room 103 from Friday the 31st of March till April 4th 2017 and the first 2 days was ok.the 3rd day we had left our camera in our hotel room when we went to the beach and park when we came home later that evening, we noticed my camera gone. We went to the person at the front counter made a complaint they suggested we come back in the morning when the housekeepers are working. The following morning which was Tuesday(day of checkout ) we brought it to the housecleaning leader that my camera had been stolen. She said they would call management and rerun the cameras. We left our numbers and checked out. We did a follow up call a few hours later and the gut at the counter had said we do not have proof my camera was stolen and their is nothing we could do about it except count it at lost. The housecleaner who cleaned my room that day my camera went missing still works there and isn't facing any consequences. This was our first time to the mainland. I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay here unless u enjoy being stolen from Worst experience ever!!!! No wonder why a lot of people from Hawaii do not like mainlanders. Cause they just simply do not give a dann about us or our belongings.

Staff is fine, rooms are ok but with some old furnitures. Bed is comfortable. I had a problem with a leaking in my bathroom and there was no solution until the next day.

Staff is very friendly, beds are comfortable, and room is somewhat clean, free, decent wifi. That's about all I can say that's good. The rest: showers have mold and need other repairs. No hot water after 7am. Only 1 small trash can in the room and none outside within a reasonable distance from my room. There was an advertised "special" on the sign outside but, of course, they were out of those rooms. Several repairs required for room. Basically, the Motel 6 across the streets has cleaner rooms for a better price, unless you absolutely require a fridge, microwave, and more channels on the TV.
