The entire campground is maintained very well. The people are very nice . Sites are easy to get to and clean.
The only noise we heard were the freight trains going by from time to time.
    The store is well stocked.
    Shopping is convenient in town.
Access to the highway is very easy.
I would highly recommend stopping and spend some time here.

We are enjoying our visit. The pet park is one of the cleanest we have enjoyed we our furbabies. There is a city bus stop right outside the gates. The sites are a little closer than some we have stayed at but manageable.

We had a quiet one night stay here. The park felt secure. We enjoyed the really nice pool area after a fun afternoon and early evening at Riverwalk. Friendly staff, clean pool area but we really didn't experience much else (good or bad). Easy access for a big rig towing a vehicle and staying in a pull through site. Certainly would stay here again if we're in the area. We noticed some sort of walking and paved bike path adjacent to the KOA park although we did not have time to explore. Easy access to and from the interstate highway yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.

    Awesome Koa!!
Very big campground with very professional and friendly staff. The pool is very nice, campsites on the side we stayed on were very roomy. Big, clean bathrooms, HD cable, nice shade trees and a big bike path behind the campgrounds. Best KOA I've stayed i so far.

Phenomenal staff on site during our visit. This is the first KOA We've stayed in. We had a Pop-Up and was very comfortable. The site is SO close to the city. We stayed up with the little ones to watch a kids movie being projected in their Great Hall.

Large park with all the amenities that KOA is known for and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is in a very industrial area but that never proved to be an issue and it was good for quick access to the historical sites downtown. A nice bike/ walking path runs right next to the park for exercise. The only issue that kept this park from being 5 star was the rough condition of the park roads and that the grass area around the sites could have been maintained better. All in all it was a pleasant 3 night stay for 2 RV's in late May 2017.

Clean cabins and the grounds are well taken care of. This KOA is a great place to stay if you're visiting San Antonio on a budget. Plus, your vehicles are safe and secure, behind a gate, something you won't get with paid parking in the heart of the city.

Overall great camp. beautiful grounds, walk ways and very close to attractions. -1star because one of the gentlemen working the counter on my second day lacked customer relations and made me feel like i was a lier over 2 towels. I do not want to let that affect my experience but it did slightly.

    Mom On Her Own:
WOW! That's really how I feel after staying 3 nights and 4 days here with two boys. As a mom, you really want to feel safe and comfortable. I was completely at ease. The staff was super accommodating. Mr. Russell, Ashley, and Amanda just made my life easy. My boys fell in love with the staff and called them by name. I was originally given a camp site further from the bathhouse and bathrooms but immediately seeing that I was camping on my own with children, the staff moved me and helped made the nightly transitions smooth. The night staff made us feel secure as they made their rounds to ensure that other campers were adhering to the rules. Mr. Russell personally delivered ice to my campsite when the truck arrived. Ashley delivered two bundles of firewood to my campsite so that I wouldn't have to carry them down. We just booked our Easter weekend there because it was just a wonderful experience. I can't say enough. The cleanliness, the attention to the park by staff, and the free activities really made this camping mom's spring break, easy breezy. Can't wait to stay again!

Nice sites clean restrooms. Really good blueberry pancakes at the cafe. Very convenient location to downtown. Highly recommend taking the bus, which has a stop right in front of campground, since our truck got broken into while parked downtown. Also most of the Public parking downtown falsely advertises prices. Sign says $3-5, but when using payment box, the real price is $15 plus!!
