Great ranch! Great people!
I booked the horse and carriage service through this company on 6/4/16 for my wedding. I ended up getting hurt on the ride and never receiving my services. I have since then gone to court and have been granted a full refund for services as of 10/4/16. . It has now been over a year since we went to court and there has still been no attempt on behalf of this company to reimburse me the money they owe me.
We took a drive out to the stable on September 6th to check it out and inquire about a birthday party. We scheduled our party while we were there for October 15th from 11am to 3pm. We had use of the pavilion and would ride after cake and such. The stable called on Friday (Oct 12th) to confirm. When I called back, I was told that we were scheduled on SATURDAY instead of Sunday. We already had obligations for that day. So I could come from 9:30am to 10:45 or come at 4:30 (riding first at 4:30.) Our original party was scheduled for 4 hours, so I chose the later time. The riding didn't start until 5:15. By the time the ride was over, we had only 5 to 10 minutes for presents and cake, due to the storm and sunset. I was not offered ANY kind of discount WHATSOEVER. When I asked about it, I was told that they couldn't discount the price, because it was a "trail ride" as opposed to a birthday party. Ummmm.. it was scheduled that way because of THEIR mistake! I Don't recommend this place. Very disorganized!!!

This owner Operated riding stable has been a local favorite for decades and operates throughout the year.
The owner, Phillip Bowen, whom I've known for years goes out of his way to accommodate visitors coming to the stables.

Overall assessment is that the prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit to the stables.
I went on a trail ride last week and had the time of my life! I had never been on a horse ever before so this was a great way to get started! The staff were very friendly and made me feel very safe. They even allowed me to feed the horses carrots that I brought when we were finished with the trail ride. You definitely get what you paid for and more! We will definitely be returning! I had a great time riding Legend!
Wonderful place to ride! The horses are very gentle and kid friendly. And the staff is just amazing! I had a great ride on Cheerio!
I can not say enough about how wonderful they were for my wedding. So flexible, understanding about rain canceling and want to make sure you are getting your money out of them being there. It was a little rainy on my wedding day but I was determined to have the ceremony outside with the horse so we did, and our driver was more then happy to do whatever I asked of him, including waiting in the rain while it passed. He even offered to hang out for a while if we wanted to go for a ride after pictures! The horse I could tell was very well cared for and was even great in photos (she liked her job). I highly recommend this service they are fantastic!
Beautiful views. Extremely nice & gentle staff. Was a really great experience, everyone had a great time from myself to my 4 year old daughter, was worth the drive from watkins glen!
Very nice place. Guides were friendly, helpful, and showed the horses alot of respect. Very understanding about changing reservations do to weather. Horses look very healthy and well cared for. Whoever stated that they have no shelter- there is a barn, however horses are meant to be outside in the natural elements, care is taken to provide blankets when necessary. The horses are very well mannered, and treated very well. Care was taken to match us to a horse and give us a few instructions. Through out the ride there were many breaks to give us instructions and check on the riders and horses. Will be returning! Thank you
