This is the second Cafe Kubal I've had the pleasure of visiting this summer. Bottom line is that I have yet to be disappointed with their custom roasts. They are superb in every respect. These guys have taken pour over Joe and baked treats to the next level. I can't wait to get back the Syacuse and checkout their darker roasts.

Cafe Kubal is a cute and laid back coffee shop. The pastry selection is limited but the obscure paintings on the wall, the tasty coffee, and excellent sandwiches provide for a great place to study, talk shop, or watch the people of Syracuse go about their day

Cafe Kubal is Tribal, and Tribal Knowledge affirms that Cafe Kubal has no equal when it comes to coffee on Salina Street. I can't wait until Kubal comes to Syracuse's Marriott Hotel!

Coffee was good, but egg and cheese sandwich was unusual at best. Beaten eggs mixed with overcooked spinach. Not sure where they were going with the combination. Odd taste, texture, and mouth feel. The bun was very good.

Super fresh coffeebecause they just poured it. Next time I'm in Syracuse I'll make sure I swing by and grab another cup. Oh and the staff is super friendly. 🙂

Coffee always starts with a good roast and Kubal is very good at roasting. The seasonal blends are very good and fun to try. Pick up a bag - usually you can find a bag that was just roasted that week. Some local roasters tend to over roast their beans, not Kubal. Combine a good roast with some home made goodies at a comfortable location and you've got a good thing going! How can you not support local when it's this good?

Coffee is great and they have plenty of options for what you might expect from a coffee shop. My kids love going with their Grandma when they visit her so they can get cookies and the other treats they have.
