I had a great experience this time. I contacted Gina and told her what I was looking for. She found the truck I wanted. Worked with me to get the best deal. Walked me through the truck and the dealership. Gina did a great job. Very pleased with everything.

Used to be good, but seems to be going downhill. They have implemented some sort of secretarial gatekeepers to the service department who are less than helpful. If you have a question they will transfer you and you will be confronted with an opportunity to leave a voicemail. All I wanted to know was if a specific part I had repaired had a lifetime warranty on it, and was told they couldn't tell me unless the vehicle was first diagnosed. What? What does that have to do with whether the part has a warranty on it or not?

Great people and great service. I have always been treated extremely well by the employees even when I wasn't buying. Great team.

car was brought in for oil change and inspection. inspection never done due to other issues needing to be fixed. was supposed to get a call from Robert the advisor to explain this but never did. Was charged for unauthorized tire rotation. Bill was supposed to be adjusted upon pick-up but was not and Mgr. didn't even acknowledge or introduce himself or apologize to my wife. Called GM that night and was promised a call the next day to 'make it right' but never received one. This place is a three ring circus and communication and follow thru is deplorable. Will be turning car in early even though we will still be paying for it and never doing business here again.

Dan Barrett was incredible. He had extensive knowledge regarding the various vehicles that we were comparing. He has good listening skills and is just an overall asset to your establishment.

Everybody and mean all, were kind, helpful and willing to go those extra few yards without being asked!! My experience was that of being crowned, King and given the keys to the finest vehicle I have ever owned!

I have been dealing with East Syracuse Chevy for 24 years. My father has been dealing with them for 40. I used to love the sales department and was not happy with the service. This has definitely changed over the years. They have really improved the service department. The whole company goes above and beyond to take care of us. Keep up the good work East Syracuse Chevy!

Absolutely worst service experience I've had in my life. Had my car towed here when the alternator went out because of the relationship my boss has with the Barbutos and I knew that my coworkers had been offered a loaner before (something I would desperately need while my car was being repaired.) Should've been a relatively easy fix as I told them exactly what was wrong and the story lined up with it being the alternator. Called the dealership that night to let them know my car was being towed there. Had to talk to the secretary since it was after the service department hours. The next morning I called the service department to tell them of my situation and ask for a loaner/figure out the timeline expected for repairs. They told me they don't offer loaners and that there was no guarantee when they'd be able to even look at it. Was told that I'd be called back later this afternoon to let me know further details. Never heard back for the rest of the day. Called again the next day. Was told it needed a new battery, but no alternator (didn't make sense for the situation, but I was all for spending $200 less if it fixed the problem). Went to pick it up that afternoon. Paid and got my keys. Went out to my car and nothing worked. Couldn't unlock the car nor start it. Was in the exact same condition as I dropped it off. At this point I'm stranded as the service department is trying to close.
Miraculously they begin paperwork for me to have a rental car for free for the next few days as they figure out what is going on. (Why wasn't this an option originally?) A couple days go by and I get a call. The alternator needs replacedinteresting. Because the alternator was still bad following the new battery installation, that new battery was fried and I would need another new one as well. On top of that the belt also needed to be replaced. At this point I just want my jeep fixed so this nightmare with this service department can be over. Repairs are done, payment is made, car starts this time, pull out of the parking space and it makes a terrible loud screech noise. I pull it right back into the service shed and demand that it be looked at immediately. The new belt was now tight enough that it was pulling on my AC compressor which apparently now needed replaced. So now I have no air conditioning this summer.
Everything kept getting attributed to the fact that my "jeep was getting up there in age"its a 2007. Not brand new, but not terrible old. It was also found out during this time that my hood release latch no longer worked. Seems odd since it worked prior to dropping it off and had not left their lot since. Was told to bring it back later the next week and that they'd repair it for free.
Bring it back for the hood release repair, under the impression that they are going to fix it quickly that morning after they tell me to have it there at 8:30 a.m. Nope. Apparently this is another one of those "drop it off all day and we will get to it when we can" things. So then I get a call at 12 saying that the latch isn't actually broken, that apparently the cable has pulled through once again likely due to the car's age and cannot be attributed to anything they would've done. This new repair is $177 dollars. Just looked, a new cable and latch system is $20-30. I express my concern how this has been nothing but a nightmare and how it doesn't make since that a "cable pulled through due to old age" from sitting in their lot for a few days. I was told he would speak to his manager (who was on lunch break) and get back to me. That was over 2 hours ago and I still haven't heard back. I am stranded once again without a car and a repair that I refuse to pay for. Hands down worst service experience of my life. Over $650 later, I ended up paying for a battery that I didn't need, lost my air conditioning, and also apparently the ability to open the hood of my car along with being car-less for over 4 days. Do yourself a favor, learn from my mistakes and take your business literally anywhere else.

I love East Syracuse Chevrolet. I left another Chevy dealership that I had done business in the past, because they did not value my business and ignored me. The sales people at East Syracuse are wonderful , you would be foolish to go anywhere else. I love the consideration they have for others, the friendly people, and the way they do business. If you are a Chevy lover like me, then East Syracuse Chevrolet is the place to be. Visit them and find out for yourself. I know you will not be disappointed.

I had a Saturday morning appt and was very happy with how I did not have to wait forever for my car to be serviced. Everyone was very courteous and pleasant. Saturday appts are great for me as I have to be to work to early during the week to drop off the car and get a ride from the dealer.

I shopped around CNY for a new Chevy truck. East Syracuse Chevrolet was the dealership I chose. The sales department was not pushing to make a sale. I was offered the best deal on a 2016 Silverado double cab. The service department is great. They're on time and the work is completed fast. I recommend East Syracuse Chevrolet to my family and friends.
